too funny
as much as the new patch does tick me off im in this game for the long haul till death do us part.......no relationship is perfect we have to ride out the rough parts and look forward to happy times.......
there are some qualities of this latest revision i cant do without

no bunny hopping
assault weapons that actually hit the broad side of a barn door
prone spamming gone
helicopters that can be shot down with a 120 mm heat round
anti air weapons that hit then enemy not my own team

The term noob is thrown around in this game so much more than any other game I've played. That includes Counter-Strike.

It seems like no matter what you do in this game you're labelled. If you kill someone you get called a whore, if you die you get called a noob. If you kill someone more than once you get called a noob with a whore weapon. Christ.

lol.. I think mainly because a lot of the players are under say 18 and its their first proper multiplayer game. Thats why people with KDRs of 0.96 somehow have the right to call someone a 'whiner'. Its a BF2 thing. When in all fairness I think it was Mr KDR of 0.96 that whined so loud as to change the game to make it **** for anyone who played at a higher level (or just more intensely).

Im playing BF1942 again now. Just because if you get owned its because you either suck or you came across a genuinely good player. Whereas in BF2 (since 1.2) if you die its probably because 'they' ruined the gameplay so much - or maybe someone is sniping you with a PKM or G36E.
