I would have to say BF2 is my fave.

1942 played really well, the 1.5 patch did wonders on the netcode! DC was a top mod and really extended the life of the game imo, so 1942 DC would get a 2nd.

BFV was cool, really had a great atmosphere to it, and I loved being able to blare 60s tunes out :)
Few too many bugs, balance issues and stability problems imo, but the PoE guys did an amazing job making BFV better than the 'vanilla' version.

BF2 - pretty d**n good imo, still being tweaked, point system is interesting, but seems to have changed players mentality a lot - in some cases for the worse.
Loving the graphics. sounds, models, era, weapons etc etc etc :)

i was a huge desert combat fan but with BF2 theres just no competition in the genra of first person modern combat games.

I REALLY miss the BF:V radio from the vehicles. It was just so damn cool that even when you got run over you didn't mind because you got to listen to the tune as the guy drove over you. :p

I liked all the Battlefield games. 1942 blew me away, it was so fresh. Vietnam was cool but there was a lot of serious balance issues, m60s, choppers, the vietnam noob toob, etc. I played DC for a while but eventually I grew sick of it. Maybe part of it was because it was extremely popular with the more immature members of the community. I really got into Forgotten Hope. I have put in many hours over the years since .5 and I still play occasionally. I didn't come into it as a WW2 history buff like many of the players were. But the mod is so rich with content and vehicles, and I like the gameplay a lot. I became hooked. Oh and it possible to tank whore like crazy in a Tiger but it was still great great fun even on the receiving end of it. Forgotten Hope is the best mod of all time in my opinion. I played Counterstrike like a religion since beta .31 til after retail but Forgotten Hope is the bestest evar.

I loved BF1942 before all the wierd expansions came out. Not that they were "Bad" or "unbalancing", but they didn't fit my taste.

My 1st love is still Day of Defeat when it was a free downloadable mod for HL.

I liked BF1942: Forgotten Hope. But I went back and tried it, and DC, and I couldn't deal with the primitive graphics and gooey control response with the older engine.

same i went back when we had one of those cant get logged on BF2 things and i could not play it and i used to for hours it looked really bad for some reson.

well it has to be bf2 for me, but i really loved BFDC there really was some great maps, AND WORKING FORK LIFTS hehehehe

Ahh BF:V was great! I loved all the vegetation for sniping etc. I wish they implemented more BF:V stuff into BF:2 , because i like the radio in the vehicles and stuff. I was also a BIG fan of DC. In some aspects I think it is better than BF2 lol. Well, the game that brought me into PC gaming was BF1942 so i give great respect to that. But to say my favorite of them I would belive it is a tie between BF1942:Secret weapons of WW2 and vietnam... argh cant stop myself ... AND DC

Probably Battlefield 2, because I like modern combat the best. However, I wish they had implemented the IDF. But that's irrelevant....BF2 is the best.
