I listen to It's Raining Men, on loop, and I make sure everyone on teamspeak heres it too! Joking! I usually only listen to music while playing racing games, or while I fly. When I'm on the ground I'm to weary of the tink of grenades and those sneaky sneaky knifers.
well i think if you're running and moving around, which i think you should be doing to capture flags and such, hearing people sneak up behind you to knife you doesnt apply anyways!
Unless you're a sniper....which im not....

True i move around alot while trying to get a flag
I listen to tunes while playing if I'm just in a "get in there and scrap" sorta mood. Otherwise, it tends to interfear with my communications and concentration on teamwork.
I also play 'em off system. My poor little underpowered comp doesn't like me running much in the background during BF2.
Tune list includes: KMFDM, TOOL, NIN (lots of caps there :p ), Ramstien, some Linkin, Apocalypica, Fluke, some classical (wholly fark, eh? Carl Orf rocks), a smatering of hard techno, and a bunch of other stuff.
I've got fairly eclectic taste... it's just gotta have power behind it to suit a gaming mood.
while playin bf2... nope, it gets a bit laggy... ofcourse you wouldn't know what lag is seeing your awesome system... -_-
well when i'm playin E.T., source, HL2: DM, Warrock(altough warrock has already music in game.. sounds good too) mostly listen to linkin park, some greenday, system of a down, cky,etc...
