Today I wanted to play SF and there was 66 servers, invanillathere was more than 1000... in my browser...
I've noticed that lately. Wonder if it is related to the cost of the expansion or the crap performance that people talk about (which I don't experience)? Kind of a bummer because I really like SF. For 10 bucks a pop I'll buy both of the booster packs. I spend more than that a week on Starbucks, why not drop it on extra BF stuff?
YES YOU ARE SO RIGHT, GUYS LETS ALL STOP PLAYING BF2! CUZ HES SO SAD.
Please tell me where I said that people should stop playing battlefield2 !
I even said it myself, I play the game a good couple of hours a week so I seriously dont see where you got that impression...
Oww ya, it might just be because your one of them fools that will accept all the problems with the game and think... oww its ok, I will just keep on giving them my support, ill even buy new hardware to run it better...
Its because of ignorent people like you that EA does not even care about cleaning up their act.
I respect those tho will say why not... its just 10$
I agree, 10$ isnt much, however, I dont play the game enough to consider the 10$ worth it...
No offence, but Valves software terrible, im talking about their Steam program not the games, the games are good, but Steam is junk and causes more problems than any program I have ever had, and not just simple problems, im talking about deep complicated problems, and problems that Valve have no idea on what it is.
I disliked steam when they originally came out, and they had all kinds of problems...
used to call it Skynet
However, with good time, I think steam has proven themselves wonderful.
Game updates, steam updates once or twice a month...
No need for patches, no need for anything really... just install steam and everything comes with it.
I am shocked to hear that you are having problems considering the computer you have in order to run bf2...
Unless your just talking about the first impression you got when IT JUST CAME OUT.
I have not seen a problem with steam maybe 4 months after they came out... besides that, its normal for New software to have issues when they originally come out... what is sad is when problematic software never gets fixed... (cough cough red nametag bug and so much more LOL)
Yes the game does have its bugs. But ive played no other game in my life were i've been hiding from tanks, soldiers and choppers all at once, and to boot the graphics are stunning. i love vbf2, i love bf2(sf) and who knows going on the previous track record. i think ill love the next two packs out.
Yes it is frustrating when your game crashes to the desktop, yadda yadda but
its still fun for me...my two cents
Today I wanted to play SF and there was 66 servers, invanillathere was more than 1000... in my browser... it means you willbe able to play EF a week or two... and soon all servers will disappear, so if you want to betatest and play singleplayer only, well go on...
I think people just get these for the unlocks and go back to vanilla thinking using them on people without them is going to give them an advantage. Of course, the same thing happened with BF1942 and it's expansion packs, so I can't say I'm surprised.
Euro Forces will be running on Vinilla BF2 servers, its is ment to update BF2, it is not a seperate game as some of you think, BF2SF uses with high enough rank get 2 new weapons (New Sniper and P90) without buying EF, hell im already using them in vinillia BF2.
As for the cost £5.99, $9.99 well i'll be getting it as long as I can find someone to let me use there CC, as I have never owned one and aint about to just for a £5.99 upgrade. :)
