DICE themself said it was to give the assault something againts small not armor vehicles, it is useless againts them now. And about the ground thing is because someone kill me like that, i came around the corner he was there and bang kill me and him by him just aiming at his feet(this was suppose to be fix) I dont mind the bouncing, but stuff like cars should not bounce off. It should detonate on contact killing the driver or gunner on the jeeps.

They should either remove the noob toob altogether. Or have it like it is in AA where it cannot bounce and will only detonate after a certain (longer) distance.

Most ppl already switched to LMG. Last time i was the squad leader in karkand(because nobody wanna be the sarge). 3 guys spawned on me near the hotel and we all got PKM.

Maybe GLs are noobtoob. But to me, small arms fighting is for fun before patch 1.2. We fired one GL, missed, jump and dodge bullets, draw assault weapon and keep fragging.

Now all we have to do is crouch and click when we have PKM in hand.

Firts off, you can still set if off at your feet and kill yourself and the enemy right next to you. If you shoot it at hmmvve's like 5 to 10 feet away they will just bounce off of it?? GL was supposably desing againts' jeeps and the sort, but no. Their 50 cal rip me up because the GL just bounce of it. And what's up with the radius of the explotion?? Is not like the damn thing is accurate now you have to be dead on with it. So pretty much the GL is done, thanks alot DICE.

After some testing I've found that a single hit directly on a DPV will not destroy it, but if you shoot the ground right under it, or very close to it, it will catch fire and explode fairly quickly. Seems the grenade does more damage when detonated from the ground than when it hits an object.

The only thing I really hate about the new GL is the phisics right upon firing the thing. It feels all delayed and messed up. It makes me annoyed to use it.

What I dont understand is why they gave it a range limit and a smaller radius. Surely both of these things are designed to make it harder to use in close quarters, so why do both? In real life, these things are extremely lethal - they are essentially 40mm mortars. The range thing is fine, but they should have a larger blast radius, not a smaller one, and be used as personal artillery rather than a gun+++.

Gl has like a one second arming time, and for some reason whether its bad physics or a game design, it sticks to its target and then explodes.
