Thanks for the feedback guys, I think I will rollback (just read that post with the full list of bugs -yikes!). Plus I didn't know that I could still play on ranked servers if I rolled back. Cool, I guess even EA is "unofficially" considering 1.2 a beta release at this point until 1.21 comes along.

More people are playing BF2 since 1.2 came out than before it.

All polls @ EA UK forums, BF2s.com, TotalBF21 and PlanetBattlefield indicate that over 60% of the members on each forum are happy with the patch (but would like a hotfix to correct a coupld of things).

People like you are in the minority. I'm not saying you should be ignored but you'll have to face up the the reality that while all of us hope that 1.21 fixes what *needs* to be fixed (e.g. the 2 broken maps in SF) then we'll be back to normal fragging again :)

"more ppl playing"= more newbies (im not saying noobs cuz noobs are different from newbies)
newbies will love 1.2 patch because EA newbified the game to suit a wider range of players ( from 8 to 80)
Maybe ppl who actually bothered to roll back to version 1.12 r minority.
(I simply did it to play with my friends, that or stop playing until next successful patch) but u can't say ppl who are unhappy about the patch r minority.(again, if u read the posts)

In the past, with 1.03 and 1.12, servers remained ranked 'points were collected) up to 2 weeks after the release of a new patch as far as I can remember.

MY personaly feeling is that EA won't derank the 1.12 servers until after the hotfix has been released.

From their point of view the worst thing that 1.2 did was break the 2 SF maps as by doing this they take away something that was paid for and that's a no-no. Until the hotfix comes out there should be no problem playing on 1.12 servers and expecting the points to count, as that would be the only way to continue playing those 2 SF maps.

Hopefuly, yes. Move on, people. The bugs will be adressed. No point in keeping ranked servers for about a 100 crying imbeciles. And the only real bug I've noticed is the name tag bug, which is a bit annyoing, but all you have to do is fire according to unifrom. I don't even look at the tags anymore. Rockets going through tanks? Never seen it. No more c-4 throwing? That's not a bug, it's a demand from the community, and I'm happy they obliged.
