i actually had to try to get this medal
took 2 rounds actually

the first time i ran around chasing people with the knife, and failed cause i actually killed too many people with the knife

the second time i had a guy help me by being the squad leader and hiding in the back of the enemy's base and i would run out chasing tanks with the knife
after the first few times of seeing me coming back, one guy caught on and wouldnt kill me and would play around by shooting near me, untill someone else came along


and i actually know a guy that has gotten several purple hearts in a single night

I got it while getting my expert knife on Karkand, not bothered about it either way.

Got mine the week I bought the game. I don't remember the circumstances of how I obtained it, but I'm glad its there to help complete my medal collection.

I find it isn't really humiliation if you get one but it's 1:4 kill/death ratio(Example: Someone has 6 kills, he would need 24 kills and so on

Yeah.. I got it and thought "hey, I got it for running after that guy trying to revive him! how nice of me" but then I looked it up and realized it was because I suck. it's my medal of shame :-P

I don't have it and don't really want it, but if I ever attempt to get my knife badge I'm sure I'll end up with it.

Can't you just click the suicide button 20 times, then go blow up 5 peeps with a G3?

actualy you have to do it the other way around, first kill 5 guys , then kill yourself 20 times, otherwise, when you first kill yourself 20 times and then start to kill and you go killed again before reaching 5 , you need 4 more deaths

LOL yeah. I was SO close to getting the Purple Heart when I got my Expert Knife (I'm talking like ~3 deaths here) on Karkand that the second I got it and died, I went and hid on the Gas Station roof and kept our commander company for the rest of the round :laugh: (I *really* didn't want the PH, my in-game excuse to was that I was 'helping' the CO protect his assets :p)

in real life it's one of the highest awards you can get, it means you where dangering your own life to safe others there life and stuff like that

It's an honor! It means you spent the whole game getting whore'd by a chopper/tank so that your teammates could do their thang.

Actually, its just that I have 2 of them, and I feel dumb because I got the last one a few days ago. It's understandable in your first week of play; after that, I still don't know what was going on...
