You can have it easily without stat padding, just stand in the middle of the street on Karkand or Warlord 20 times and run circles like a headless chicken.

and make 5 kills afterwards.....should be no problem

I don't have it, and I don't want it on purpose......maybe someday by accident.

I don't see it as a humiliation, just bad luck

I got this medal on purpose because I wanted to have it. The way I got it was, I got my 5 kills first, and then I was chasing the death 20 times. Few months later I got it again, this time because I sucked very bad that round. So I have 2.

It is not an award you want, but it does show you don't quit on your team when the going gets tough

awarded to those who shed blood (their own)in the line of their duty(including the lanceing of boils in an active combat zone)

.... as a result of enemy fire or hostile action.

you have a **** round but by getting a medal its supposed to make you feel better. I got mine by trying get my expert knife on Kark.

Id take it as a humiliation. Why would anybody want a medal for dieing more than you kill in a round(youd just be helping the other team win anyways)? Sure its the easiest medals to get, but whats the point of gettin it if your just gonna play bad on purpose?

I had to actually work for my Purple Heart. Trying to get the ratio right can be tough. It was just something else to add to my decorations.

I got mine not long after the game came out and i did get it deliberatly . However only reason i went for the medal was becasue the medal requirments back then were insane you needed like 1000+ hours for most of the medals which i honestly beleaved id never clock up that amount of time on the game. Even now im only at 420 hours (or something similar) theres no way hardly anyone would have any medals at all if the original requirments werent lowered.

Yeah, that is what I did...I mean it was fun when this one guy said 'why would you want that?' and I replied with a 'I'm bored =]' he laughed so bad XD

My girlfriend got me mine! All she did was play for half hour and she got it. So just get a female to do it most are crap at fps games like mine lol.

Got mine without trying, it just happened that way. Yeah, it was a bad round, and yeah I was getting owned by all the 1337 chopper whores, but guess what? I didn't give up.

I wouldn't give them the satisfaction - nobody beats me until I quit.

I kept coming back, and every once in a while I'd take one of the bastards with me. The PH is BF2's medal for perseverence, for not cutting-n-running when the tide's against you.

It's the "I'm not all about my personal stats" medal.

It's the "I'll die trying to revive my team mates" medal.

It's the "I'll man the stupid frikkin AA position or defend this flag alone" medal.

In other words, it's a medal for guys who embody the spirit of "I get knocked down, I get up again, ain't never gonna keep me down!"

Plus, BFHQ isn't yet scripted to keep track of whether or not you have more than one. I think I have like 7 now, but there's no way for you to know, =)
