It's a shame that now you sit on a roof the whole game instead of helping the team.

I think it's unfair to snipers out there when you said that. Most of the time, I either shot some snipers who tried to shoot squad members or defend the flag position who tried to cap the flag.

How will the new unlock able sniper rifle (L96A1) differ from the other sniper rifles, considering the current rifles will have increased accuracy and damage, how will it hold up?

It follows the same rules for all other unlocks. It is not better than the other rifles, it is just different. As far as how it stacks up, it is on par with the M24.

I don't think he got the memo before the interview about that sniper rifle. Its no way on par with the M24. I have not unlocked this one yet, but I picked it up from the dead snipers I did manage to kill. Have to say, its really great to finally get the one shot 1 kill that you are supposed to get. But on the receiving end, as I was being spawned camped by a pretty good sniper, I wanted to shove that damn rifle up his A**. LOL. I do not want to see this changed, hope EA doesn't do anything with this rifle in the upcoming hot fix.

Oh yeah.... because causing the other teams tickets to go down quickly.... and thus speeding your team victory never helps the team...

M24, M95 and L96A1 delivers the same damage. its not the weapon guys, its YOU LOL!! most ppl got all excited with new weapons. if they can kill with it, they praise it :). here read the weapon stat thread http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56385

uhm not to be the spoiler here just kinda thought i d like to point out that the gun came with the new patch which affected All the sniper rifles accuracy..... which probably helped the rep of this gun.....

but hey dont get me wrong it might just be that im high or something ...in that case my apologies
