You should try to find someone with whom you can make an Apprenticeship (sp?) someone who can fit you in and answer question wich will pop up until you can stand on your own two.Comment

my tip - dont try to be a jack of all trades - find one aspect of modding you like and stick with it - modelling/skinning/coding/mapping/sound/etc etc etc... work on some simple projects to start with using tutorials off the net until you have some work together tht you can show a prospective mod in order to join..... once you get to tht stage you will be right as rain...Comment

I have learned much from this thread, thank you.
I am not sur ewhat do pursue, I am interested in just about all aspects modeling, mapping, coding, skinning...which would be the bet to start out Im learning twords modeling or coding casue they seem to be tthe most wanted.Comment
