Im sick of claymore spamming!!

This is gettng rediculous now, i was playing on a city map only server yesterday. Now in the new patch that teammates cant set of a friendly claymore, this has given way to claymore spamming.
EG: in the alleyways in karkand at 1 time there must have been about 30 claymores in that 1 alley. Sure its a good way of defending a flag but this was stupid i meen you could barely walk anywhere without being blow up by a claymore.

Ya we did that today, it was pretty ridiculous (sorry if anyone here was a victim to our excessive claymore spamming of the Karkand CD)

the thing that baffles me is that each time I meet a sniper head on, the first thing he does is to lay out a claymore. Can't they just fight back, instead of killing themselves and me?

I don't think the answer is to bring back FF for AT-mines and claymored. Maybe they should just limit the active claymores to two intead of five as it is now.

What they need to do is lower the rediculous range to set it off. You can set those things off from a good 4 feet away sometimes, rediculous.

i don't mind the fact that FF is off on mines as before whenever you put down a claymore some daft prick on your own teamwould step on it straight away, at least now you don't end up getting loads of TK's. But what i don't understand is why have they made them indestructable. This seems totally ilogical to me?, its how possible to make a flag uncapturable unless you willing to kill yourself if there is a claymore in front of it.

I mean don't get me wrong, as a sniper i love the fact that you can just spam claymores all over the place and just wait for an enemy to walk past, but i agree that it is unfair, especially when you can't destroy them!

I don't think it's that big of a deal to be honest. If people rode in with the APCs the APC would set the claymores off and no one would get hurt. the problem here is the idiots who run in the same way every time and never learn no matter how many times they get blown up. If there are that many claymores it means the other team is at a disadvantage due to the imbalanced number of snipers they have. Last night I got 7 claymore kills from the same idiot. I saw him trying to sneak by on karkand so I shot him and layed a claymore there. About 30sec later bang he was dead from the claymore, so I layed another, 30sec later bang he was dead. Seven claymores, 7 kills, same place, same guy. Kinda reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Lisa hooks up shockers to the cupcake and Bart tries for like an hour to get it even though he keeps getting shocked every time. Honestly, if you see a claymore then go around or go in armor. It only takes about 2min before USMC gets a base behind enemy lines with their armor, spawn there and the claymore problem is solved. To me the claymore is an idiot killer, cause you have to be an idiot to go where you know they're going to be EVERY round.

Well, i think after a little while after people realize how crazy its getting, servers will start turning ff back on for claymores and mines.
