Do PUNISHES affect your score?

I have 300+ hours of gameplay and my score never was affected by TK punishes.

I get -4 for teamkills; -2 for teamdamage and -1 for teamvehicle damage
But the punishes apparently are only used to kick you after reaching a certain limit.

Sometimes u may get like -6 for a teamkill, but actually its -2 for a teamdamage and -4 for the teamkill; the PUNISH does no effect.

Still, some guys are just too stubborn and keep saying "Hey, its in the files, punishes will decrease your score by 2 (or by 4 depending on the storyteller)".

So, whats your opinion?

I've always believed that punishing subtracts 2, if there was no effect on your score whats the point of having the punish option ?

They count towards a "kick meter", after reaching a certain limit, you are kicked.

Its a variable called sv.tkNumPunishToKick

After reaching the limit you are kicked.

Punishes subtract from teamwork points during the round if that's what you're asking. Now if you field a completely negative score in a round does it subtract form your global? That I don't know never had a completely negative round.

Punishes HAVE NO EFFECT ON SCORE. I've said this over and over, but nooo people don't listen at all.

Lets make this clear. THE MOST you can get from a TK is -6. This occurs when you first injur the persong getting a (Team Damage -2) and then kill them (TK -4).

Punishing only tells the server that you are one step closer to the quota before you are kicked.

Same here. They are proven wrong but still...

Actually you can get more... Like if they heal themselves or something...
I'd say -6 is a typical score when you TK sb with full health using a rifle.

Yes it does, some people managed to drop in rank doing this =D

I hear what you are all saying. But I honestly have seen my teamwork score drop after accidently fragging a friendly. Go on a serve get a few teamwork points then kill your buddy and recheck your teamwork score. It'll be less in my expereince. Maybe its a server thing?

I'm not saying you guys are wrong, just from what i've experienced. I've knifed a clan mate before and my score went to -4, then he proceeded to taunt me with the option of punishing or not he ended up punishing me and i watched my score go to -6.

Thats because when you TEAM kill it subtracts from your TEAMwork score. In other words, all your teampoints (Heals, Revives, resupplys, flag caps, flag cap assists, etc. -TKs)

you lose points for teamkills, team damage, and team vehicle damage, disregarding the punish

Whilst on the topic og TKing, is it just me, or has it gotten worse and worse?

Dice really needs to think this TK througha bit better in order to punish the real Tkers instead of the innocent.

Examples:

I shoot a plane down, it lands on my men, I get punished.

Friendly car rams me in tank, he dies I get punished.

Not possible unless something you blew up with something hurt a teammate after death. Trust me guys we have tested this over and over. Punishing does not affect one's score.
