It's the UAV. If you look in the sky, you'll see UAVs flying around and you'll see red and blue names for them. Seeing it by looking at the ground is probably a bug. Or there to just show you there's one in the area since most people don't look at the air.

That's because it shows the distance in meters the UAV is from you. Move closer to the UAV and the number will decrease.

I was standing on top of the marker it said 2m.

There was nothing around. Except me and my slowly sinking into the ocean chopper.

i agree that it has nothing to do with UAV... the wasnt even any active uav when i saw it on ghost townit was like 345 m away, out in the ocean

I was wondering about this too. I wonder if its a selectable spawn point? It could be where they keep the weapons of mass destruction. Easter egg, maybe? Probably just another boring glitch.
I still think this patch should have been at least 3 parts and they should have "fixed" each part before releasing the next one. Oh well, Looks like with EA its always a roll of the Dice. Ha Ha. . . . .Red

lol we're those smacktards dude. They write crap, we test, the fix the bugs we find, thereby introducing more, which we test for Dice, and so it goes on....the best bit? We pay for it!
