download the demo. It is better then final :laugh:

less bugs and you can run longer then 5 secs. I didnt even know the 1.2 patch cut the running time off a lot. they should change it. You should be able to run longer like a normal soldier

I fly way more now than before 1.2 . Cause now all the whiners are too busy sucking their thumbs and creating posts on how it's too easy to shoot them down, and they can't get 80-0 scores every time. Boo-Hoo. Learn to adapt, you can still have a better than average score most of the time, planes domintated before, and now it is just more even...

I'll vote as soon as EA fixes the bug that makes it so i can't play. Even if it sucks i doubt i'll sell it, i may cut back on playign or stop playing but then there could always be a patch that makes it better again.

With the 1.2 patch having made the AA missiles a simple point and click system, I find there is no skill required to fly in the BF2 series of game now. My only reason for purchasing the game in the first place, was for the ability to test my flying skills against others.
I am therefore seriously considering selling my discs.
Anybody interested in buying them from me, please post your contact information below and when I have made a final decision on selling the games, I will contact those who have posted with details.

You know, I just noticed that Mr. Ace Pilot posted this on the SF discussion board. Last time I checked, SF didn't even have planes. Further if he's "testing his flying skills against other pilots" in SF, he's doing it in attack choppers when he should be covering the troops below with close air support.

Hmmm, maybe it's just me, but this might be some indication of his piloting abilities.

battlefield 2 aint just an air simulator but i think its nice with jets and choppers. u can decide if u wanna be on the ground or in the air.. makes the game more fun and long lasting too

I would like to thank all of you who have PMd me with sincere intrest. Just to be sure you all got the same response, I am simply waiting now to see if the 1.21 patch will address any of the issues I have with the missiles.
Once the patch is released, and I have had a chance to evaluate it, I will get back to you.

Well, judging by the poll, it is pretty obvious that most of the people voting are not pilots.
As for the flaming, I will not bother to respond. It would just be a waist of time.
For those actually interested, all I am trying to get is an E-Mail addy, or MSN addy I can use when I make my decision. I have 2 gigs of memory comming shortly, and I am simply waiting to see if the RAM will improve the game any before I make my decision.
For those of you who are not interested in purchasing an extra set of discs, please keep your childish insults to yourself. No one really wants to hear them.
