I ask why would you buy bf2 just for the planes go get a flight sim then there's more then just flying soo many kits tanks jeeps to have fun with soo I say keep it there not worth there full value therers soo many mods coming out

Hello all:
With the 1.2 patch having made the AA missiles a simple point and click system, I find there is no skill required to fly in the BF2 series of game now. My only reason for purchasing the game in the first place, was for the ability to test my flying skills against others.
I am therefore seriously considering selling my discs.
Anybody interested in buying them from me, please post your contact information below and when I have made a final decision on selling the games, I will contact those who have posted with details.

You bought a FPS game to "Test your flying skills"?

Try IL-2 Sturmovik, Forgotten Battles, Aces Expansion Pack, Pacific Fighters, test your flying skills in HyperLobby against those people.


Be warned, the physics modeling isn't arcade...you may find your flying skills are nonexistent.

Try Falcon 4.0, LOMAC and Strike Fighters Project 1 for modern era air combat.

Yeah I hear ya I just play karkand and sharqi. Waiting for the mods myself. The patch was rushed anyway so they could release their stupid booster pack that I will not be purchasing. The only reason we got a patch is because of this stupid booster pack as far as I am concerned, EA are just greedy and only listen to the whiney cry babies who get owned.

Anyway I doubt anyone on these forums will be interested in purchasing BF2 as, they probally already own it if they are on these forums.

who ever says "made the game better" does not fly. or is one of the people who always gets killed. Or just doesnt care and wonts air out all together

Beacuse if you do fly and are a pro you would know that it takes no skills at all and dog fights in the Air are boring lasting no longer then 3 secs and any person even if he doesnt know how to fly can kill you

I fly alot in Falcon 4.0, and also Lomac. I say I am ok. My friends say I am a pro, but I doubt that. When it comes to BF2 and even yet Special forces, flying any type of aircraft is not the place to learn or be a pro on. I never fly in BF2, and SF. To many childish acts going on in the game. So, I do my ground stuff. Unless their is a free heli near me. And no friendlies spawn to take it. Well..then I grab it before the enemy does.

I tried many of the flight simulators above. Flying with a joy stick is still alot like flying in BF2. Maybe not down to every point but theres the feeling to feel free to fly whereever you want is still there. Some of those pilots in those simulators are insane though, they play the game like its an MMORPG non stop.

I still see where the guys coming from though.. Game is very disappointing for me now that its changed. Not only that those little vodniks are a force to be reconed with its insane how fast they can down a helo.

Uhhh..... Why don't you decide whether you are going to sell them and then just advertise them after you make your choice. Should everyone post their personal info and then you decide not to sell them? That's just retarded.

You can still fly in this game just fine if you have any skill.
