    Hey, look.

    A blatant contradiction.

L85A1 problems.....? switch it to semi auto...viola you have medic with short-medium range sniping abilities...and you can get off quite a few shots in semi-auto without having crazy recoil cuz its easy to line up each shot becuase you aim each shot, instead of spraying on full auto

for some odd reason i found it easier that way compared to the g3 i held, never shot one though so cant say for sure! Plus you get used to it, i did lol!

It was horrible weapon, until the a1. Now, with the right care, it's a weapon than shoot very tight groups at 300m. Hell, it can even engage targets at 600m. Although, at that range you're seriously limited by the 5.56 ammunition. It's possible, just highely unlikely.

Indeed! the A2 is an amazing weapon, its reputation is because of the original, never used an A1 though, cant say for sure, from what my uncle says (ex army) was a great improvement

I believe it's one of the most accurate Assault Rifles around at the moment!?!
I had consitent tight groupings every time I was on the range so I dont know where you base your theory.

Wikipedia, guess I need to look elsewhere, but according to it the weapon has a bunch of recoil because of the weight in the stock, poor weather conditoion versatility and poor construction....including the "fact" (I'm thinking theory now) that the reigorous cleaning regimen required to keep it in order screws it up

Like I said, this applies to the L85a1... I don't know if the same still goes for the a2, and other variants.
