And if you look at my stats, you'll see that I've killed 173 people with the grenade launcher; much less than 1 per hour of gameplay. [rollseyes]

Well...most people who are used to racking up points whore-style in a BH have never really had to AIM the BH mini-guns before (just point and click anywhere near your enemy)...so it never took any skill.

Now, you ACTUALLY HAVE TO AIM! *GASP* So there are tons of 'gunners' out there who really DO suck...but now, they will be FORCED to get better.

You're not supposed to aim at individual targets with the M134's. They are intended for strafing over targets -- hence the original splash damage. Likewise with the PKM: it was not originally intended for sniping.

There's no excuse for the minigun splash damage removal. Period.

In my opinion most of the community is agreeing to Loki. Battlefield turned into some random Egoshooter. So why play Battlefield when i can play Wolfenstein, CS or some other skunk. side note - just finished a game on dragon valey, used pzg-95 [chineese mobile aa] all the round, died once, ratio 29-1, all kills chopers and jets

why? because USMC had 'elite' air corps - their 'elite' chopers insisted on going HEAD-on with something that has 4 cannons and 4 missiles.. they died 10 times a row.. add some jets to the cake and viola: a new kind of fun, something that DIDNOT EXIST! before patch - AA defence

why i tell this? because, you act, as if removing your overpowered, overarmoured and invincible planes/chopers ruined ALL aspects of game. maybe, yes, for you, as you probably didn do anything else.
for everybody else, there is one aspect actualy added - AA defence. now we can shot back, and with efect. before the patch choper could safely go head on withtuguska and win barely scratched. no longer. adapt, adopt and improve, if you cant, go an find another game. we had to live withjets that caoulnd be fired at from ground. now you have to live without the god mode on

I nearly have as many kills as you, you have more deaths and I have more road kills, im not really a chopper whore, I pilot 80-90 percent of the time and only really switch with my gunner if he wants to pilot, but I usually circle strafe the tops of buildings where the heli spawns so my gunner can kill everyone and destroy there heli. But how did you rack up so much time and not that many kills, you couldn't have been a gunner, and if you were pilot you musn't have taken any tanks out etc. So if your asking me it doesn't look like you chopper whore at all.

I am a pilot on the BH 90% of the time ... on the guns very little. I don't do jets. I get my points by playing the 'support' kit, and being pilot. I resupply the engineers with mines, the Assualt troops with grenades, and get a point for everyone else's kills and fixes.

For instance, my highest round ever (238 points), was on Songhua Stalemate ... (BustacapTX was on the chopper with me to verify my claim ... and got 200 points himself).

I was ONLY a pilot the entire round. I didn't kill a soul. I was jus playing 'Support' and piloting the BH. BustacapTX only killed a small handful due to the fact that he is primarily the engineer. So it can be done.
