Increased lag from 1.2 patch?

I was just wondering if you guys have noticed an increase in lag after the 1.2 patch was in use? I noticed it greatly and I decided to ask some other players who were online in the [TW] public server. They said they noticed a big difference.

Whats your experience been?

yeah, quite a bit more lag. not un-playable but annoying.

Yeah I think there's less lag and then sometimes it seems like it hasn't even changed.

Hes not whining you douche hes just stating that he is getting more lag. Which is true in my case. 75 percent of the servers I go into now will run fine for 10 minutes or so then lag out bad. I can still manage to play but its very annoying with everything jerking around.

I've found when everyone has a low ping it's fine. But any high pingers (and not particularly high) it starts to lag, worse than any previous versions of BF2.

I've also found that this problem has been getting worse from every new patch added... Anyone else noticed that?

I've found that people who think that HPB'ers have any effect on the server performance have no clue what so ever.

I haven't seen more lag all over just one server. Our Karkand server started lagging bad for some reason. It could've been a memory leak clogging things up though.

Not "lag", just overall much worse performance, fcking slideshow now.
70-80 fps before the patch, 20-30 max now.

Yeah.

Came to forums to see if others were having this new problem....damn.

Definately notice it. Several times the game has really started bogging and getting small, jerks on screen.

Similar to when the game first came out.

Have updated PB, nothing running in background, updated drivers et.
Started after patch.

Also getting lots of rejections trying to enter servers with the "modified content-version" message.

The game ran smooth as silk before patch 1.2, now it lags like hell for the first 2 minutes, like it did before I upgraded to 1 gig RAM.

I can play for about 10 mins well and smooth then I drop down to around 20fps and it annoys me into Alt + F4
