The grenade launcher bouncing physics sucks. I tried to bounce a grenade around the corner to only have it slide along the wall. Going past the corner and out towards nothing.

Oh lordy! The grenade launcher is FAR from useless. It is STILL the most deadly infantry weapon in the game, when put in the right hands.

The GL is not that bad, and infact it has hardly changed as far as I can see...It is still great against light vehicles and groups of enemies...

I too would have prefered to see a longer delay than the faction of a second one they introduced...

The new grenade launcher is exactly the same. You just have to be more accurate and not shoot at someone right in front of you. Go practice more with it before whining that the game got harder.

Thats bold coming from you....you don't even have 20k points and you barely have more kills than death with the GL....

And its not exactlyt he same, it has a slight delay and bounces, and the radius of the explosion is lowered.

It was fine before, too many people complained because they couldn't handle being owned so....we get this crap.

And no, I wasn't ever a big noob tuber....

I just played 5 rounds of Karkand and it seems that the M203 sucks ASS now. This is stupid, the 1.2 patch downgraded BF2. Who else agrees?

The M203 was nerfed by about 5%, no knife range kills anymore. I whored it so bad on Karkand I had to wash my hands when the round was over.

Note that I said ALMOST exactly the same. It only bounces at close ranges at which you shouldn't be using the grenade launcher anyway. The radius is lowered? So be more accurate, like I said.

Why don't you read your OWN posts before you reply to mine LOLZ!

The better solution is still to make it not even detonate unless its gone at least 20M or so like in real life...and then make the radius larger.

No, it totally kicked ass before. And it wasn't fine. The fact that you could jump and fire down and be outside of the blast radius was ridiculous. Although, I don't think the arming distance was necessary, as taking away the jump shoot dealt with this, it isn't that big of a problem. . .the arming time is SOOO short.

I said exactly because the differences aren't that great if you have decent aim. You can still hit people from a distance the same way as before.

Why should the game be more like real life? Since when is real life fun and balanced?

In all games there needs to be a balance between real life and fun....the balance isn't always equal....

I am just saying that the system they have in real life would work better than what they have now.

It's a grenade so it's time based. You'd need a built in computer for it to be distance based.

I think the GL is just as good as it used to be. For close range, you just aim a meter in front of them so it slithers over to their body.
