having to try and get your commader to arty the sniper is a bit much, having to kill yourself to get rid of them is too much too...and another one will be in its place before you can get back. sniper has 2 claymores and can have 5 in total at once on the map. Since half the team are snipers and half are support expect to see alot of claymores on karkand if the guys on know the advantage of them.

    BS
i have a good KDR so dont die that often and i'm always attacking flags, i dont want 80% of my deaths to be due to claymores. i'd rather be killed by a PKM as at least you can shoot back.

What a joke, For it to be even possible in a third patch of this game is laughable. Ok i could see if it was there in the first released version. Whoops never thought of that, but a third version and they allow this hogwash.

you would think they would learn from other game makers. Blackhawk Down originally had this, where team doesnt get killed from team claymores. And everyone abused it. So they changed it.

What about removing the tag on the claymore. Now you dont know if its yours or your enemies? LOL

Lets boycott BF2 until they give us access to buildings and windows :)

How many actual wars are fought 100% on the streets? Thats hasnt been done since the British soldiers marching in straight lines against american soldiers who are hiding behind tree's.

From WW2 till now, every war has involved buildings as strategic military objectives. Even back when cannons were first invented, castles were used.

So why hasnt BF2 allowed all the buildings to be accessible with windows to shoot from and rooftops etc...

Then it would be a real special ops game. No running as a group in the middle of the street. Instead, more clandestine and sneaking around etc.

I think most ppl dont know the patch-changes so there is not much trable with overpowerd claymors YET. I think they shoud be destroyable with granades or even bullets and thats it. I like it that they dont explode when a teamate passes by. There are way too many noobs to expect them to aviod the REDSKULL area.

Yeah something simple like that works. They allow that in other games, why not here.

Or maybe make the engineer immune from claymores when holding a wrench, then they can disarm for others to pass.

My local servers put FF on mines/claymores on.

Old ways, old tks, old fools,... even worse right now because people think they are invincible.

LoL, what a view on BF2 SF Warlord map. The hotel staircase had claymore on every step. It's a bit ridiculous with the claymores now.
