the g36e is better, you are obviously on crack or something because burst is at least on par to ak/saw in cqc. yes the l85 can zoom more, to bad its accuracy degredation is huge. not to mention hte g36e is accurate as hell.

yeap on crack, the only reason to choose the f2000 over the m16 is flashes, other than that the m16 is the most accurate assault rifle available.

Medium to Long range I would say the effectiveness of the weapon is pretty much equal but when you are talking about 2-3 metre engagement. It is harder to own due to the fact that 3 shot burst is harder to shoot moving or strafing target coupled with the fact that with auto the chances of bullet hitting the target is more. Yes if you click the button fast enough at a non moving target it is fast ,but when you are spraying in 2-3 metre distance battle G36E is at disadvantage. It doesn't spray as well as auto. WHen I talk about spray , I am talking about aimed spray

If you think it's crap you probably suck at using possibly the most accurate rifle in the game outside of a sniper rifle.

like I said IMO it's crap when I play medic I always use the L85A1 again IMO it's a better gun but lets not slag off anyone for their opinions on a gun, advice was asked for and I gave MY opinion

G36E i would say, the SCAR-L is less accurate than the G36C and takes the same amount of shots to kill. The G36E is a way for medics on PLA or MEC to get some long range attacking ability.

Bottom line is Scar-L is not worth unlocking and G36E is a great weapon but the first tier unlock for medic L85A1 is already very very good. You might want to unlock G36E if you like variety and want to play both rifles back and forth. But if not unlock PKM, it rocks!

Since the 1.2 patch the L85A1 has been improved so much it all boils down to your playing style. The G36E is better on medium range, the L85A1 on short to medium. In CQB style play I would take the L85A1 atm. I tested it tonight and I get 3 kills/clip out of the L85 and only 2/clip with the G36. Thats in CQB, on average.

G36E....its so accurate, and fires quite fast for a burst weapon.

G36E, very accurate and powerfull, the SCAR-L which I also have unlocked isn't as good as the G36C or the G36E, the G36C and the G36E both pwn.
