Like someone else said I wish they would work on the performance issues. I just play one round of the new patch and the pausing the first five minutes was almost unbearable. I got killed at least 3 times while it paused, paused, paused. It's f'ed up that 1 gig of RAM on a 2.4GHz Athlon 64 machine isn't enough.

This shows that if you're a whiner and complain about noob toobs, bunny hopping etc instead of beating them at their own game and improving your skills, then you get rewarded.

Even though i hate the patch, i am glad about the G3 and support gun improvements. Now i am assault with teh G3 and support a lot more on Karkand. But moving is choppy, there is terrible stuttering and going prone is a freaking pain in the ass.

If they just allowed jumpshooting still.. i'd be fine with the update..
I wasn't a bunnyhopper by any means.. i would just jump as a come around a corner or when i wanted to nade someone.. jump click dead.. could have been fixed better IMO.. not being able to jump with less than <insert number> of bars of energy/sprint left would have been wonderful..

this prone delay thing is annoying too.. keep dieing because of it..

Just watch, now people are going to start complaining about campers. Because thats what everyone is going to do. Find a place to lay down and shoot semi-auto rounds at the other dudes laying down trying to shoot you.

Three biggest problems:

1.No skill easy kill AA/aircraft lowered hp/BH guns nerfed -

-The whiners got what they wanted, a zero skill solution. The BH didn't need nerfing, the MEC chopper needed buffing. 100% effective AA that only requires the user to left click twice is totally imbalanced.

2.Can't go from prone to stand fast enough

-This is not neccesary to stop bunnyhopping

3.Support Weps too accurate

-They were fine before if you had something called..wait for it.... SKILL ahhh he said skill RUNNNN, getting gold medals continously on karkand using nothing but pkm in 1.12 was not that hard. It just required skill. Now support weps are more deadly than sniper rifles at long range (sometimes)

EDIT: G3 change is good, sniper rifle change is so so...

IMHO, I like the patch. And heck, I'm a pilot (A.k.A a planewhore to you people that whine and suck to bad to shoot us down), too. I like the new sniper unlock, thats the gun I have been waiting for. Accurate, fairly quiet, nice shot-shot timing. I have yet to see the Red glich, so maybe they fixed it in some cases, but I do have clanmates how have seen it.

Good patch over all. People that complain and who want 1.12 back probably didn't like 1.12 in the first place, so their' opinions are void anyways...

Well, I played USMC karkand 4 times since the patch, and I think we actually won 3 of the 4. Amazing since MEC used to noob tube us into submission, hehe.

Almost everyone complains about the patch but most of you will still by their ****ty booster pack...

Thats why I boycotted all EA products over 2 and 1/2 years ago when they tore Westwood studios apart and dumped off the game AND online play. To bad the community held those games together and they're still going strong.

The only reason I have BF2 is because my boss bought it for me as a "christmas gift" for helping out when people didn't come in. Mind you she knows the owner of EB games so she got a deal on it.

I love the patch. PKM to powerful? Have any of you seen this thing in action. It is powerful. Finaly a support guy can actualy lay down support fire with out getting killed. This allows for more stratagy, more squad work and more realizm, which I like. I cant even count the times I ran into a enemy base by myself, took out a few supports/assalts, with one clip, and captured the base. That ain't right, especialy when it happens to me.
To powerful AA? how many freaking rockets do you think it takes to shoot down a helo? Yeh, it was so much better when I would shoot a helo with a freaking tank, A TANK!! and it would turn around and kill me.
You guys ever watch the news? In Iraq helos get shot down all the time, with ground gun fire, let alone heat seaking stinger like missiles. And they would get shot down even more if they always hovered 30ft over a base for a minute, (as they always do in the game).
Next Patch. they should make it so you cant shoot straight/see straight, while getting shot. Many times I am getting shot, turn around, and start shooting, and I get the kill. That ain't right! If you got stuned or dazed, crap like that wouldn't happen so much.
This is a good realizm patch. And if you dont like realizm thats cool, but I would recomend UT2004. Keep complaining, that is what the forum is for, but a lot of people like the patch, and obviously thats the way EA wants to go with this game.
