Patch Sucks And......

First of all I think the patch just created more bugs, so far i have noticed these....

Smoke from damaged heli seen through buildings, terrain
an unidentified direction meter at what appears to be at the bottom of the bay in Wake.

Going prone is now an ass pain.

AA and missles in general are way overpowered.
Just screwed up crap, the game was better before.

maybe 1.3 has the chance of being the great patch?

cause 1.2 made bf2 a whole lot worse.

Same thing was said about 1.12, and 1.03, etc. We will all get used to it and when they change it everyone will get all mad again. Oh well.

IMO i think bf2 was alot better when it first came out.

The patch does suck.....try this
launch a grenade from the m203 into the front window on a blackhawk, watch it tumble around for a few seconds like a pinball machine, then explode like 10secs later. Go prone, then try to stand up.....5 sec later.

This patch is a disgrace. It has ruined a perfectly good game...out

no 1.2 was good, maybe a little AA revamping and some small fixes, 1.2 sucks no matter what.

This shows that if you're a whiner and complain about noob toobs, bunny hopping etc instead of beating them at their own game and improving your skills, then you get rewarded.

standing up sucks now, 5 sec from prone and the noob tub has been nerfed horribly.

why can't EA/DICE concentrate on improving the performance & stability of the game, instead of adding new maps, vehicles, ect etc, i fink if the next patch was concentrated on this we would see a much better community towards them.

I don't know if it was for the better or the worse, all I know is that all the people I know got ****ed by the 1.2 patch like no patches did to them before.
before we r just ****ed because there r a lot of new bugs comes out and some major bug didnt get fixed. now we r ****ed because the major bugs r still not fixed and even more bugs comes out and the gameplay has being changed to suit the crying noobs because they can't deal with choppers, cant shoot down jets with other jets, cant kill c4 whores before they get close enough. so now the game is like okay every1 can kill every1 else now, screw skills screw pratices, we can just point,fire and kill!

i like the m203 bounce thing, i stillg et kills and you can ger creative!

I like the prone now its much slower this is GOOD. EVER play GHOSTRECON 1 for PC, its about the same.

SO far with this patch, the game feels mroe like GR1 and 2, im loving it!

Skill to aim? Have you not used the PKM lately? I rarely used it before and now it's the easiest thing to rack up kills with. In fact it's a little too easy, which should be handy for those spray and pray type players.

What is the deal with this "Five seconds to stand up from prone?"

Do you people even have a concept of what five seconds actually is? The fact is that it takes less than one second to get up from prone, and the time difference from 1.12 to 1.2 is very slight. In fact, the difference is almost not noticeable. It just feels like the is the slightest hesitation from prone to standing.

In fact, it takes less time in game to go from full prone to standing than it does in real life.


I guess these are the same people who talk about how long it takes for "verifying client data" to complete. I've read many people who talk about making changes and optimizing this and that, and now "it takes less than five minutes!"

Five ****ing minutes? Have any of you actually timed how long it takes to verify client data? I have not performed any optimization, and I have a PC that I build nearly two years ago, and it takes a whopping 47 seconds to verify client data.
