I dont look at nbame tags..I look at uniforms.
Drop visuals of name tags on infantry under a certain distance, make players have to rely on uniforms...
seperates the nooblets to the guys who knwo there stuff.
Hmmm ... didn't bother to read the first paragraph of the first post .. did you? BTW .. what's an isot? :p
Re: The RED team maate situation has gotten much worse since patch
The first post paragraph..you basically said this.
"I was playing sniper and shot at nametags over players"
So what you mean is a sniper should be able to have a magical force tell you friend from foe, not your eye.
yeah thats real..most snipers in the real world just fire at targets they cant make out as friend or foe...
No..I think they have to wait for visual comformation..not a magical name tag.
Yep hats off to any sniper that can move his cross hairs aroudn an area to detect name tags not have to actually visualy see the enemy.

For me...I love 1.2, but I now experience the red tag bug far more frequently than before. I accept this as the risk for playing 1.2.
LOL - You must like carrots.

While I do agree, do you really expect for him to wait for another teammate to spot him (or not)?
Noramlly you would spot them in yourself and if ya get a red dot, ya know its cool to kick their arse. But cos of the bug, that wont work.

The thing is, when I saw the red tag problem, that guy had also the enemy's uniform.
Still, when I killed him it said teamkill for me and I also got punished. This was before the patch as I played very little after the patch and I did not notice this bug in that time.
After I killed him and he punished me, he tells me to f**ing choose my targets better. Guess what? His chat messages were also red.
Moreover, when I pressed TAB I was seeing him listed on the other team.
I was seeing him as an enemy and everything was looking like he was on the other team, but he was in fact on my team.
I guess all this information: uniform, tag color, assigned team on TAB, all are rendered in the client from the same bit of information received from the server. I do not know if there are also instances when the tag is red but he has the correct uniform.
