All this patch does is force me to quit running around like a maniac with the DAO-12 and instead snipe you as you spawn.

And if I can't snipe you then I'll just jack your tank/APC as you repair it and kill you with it.

This is a joke. It does not take any skills to point and shoot, which of course is what the new patch as done. Point and shoot and hope your weapon doesn't deviate too much. The style of play in BF2 is quite boring now, quite boring; it was never really meant to be for BF2.

All the complaints are more ironic then ever. The patch has only brought down the good players to a leveled playing field so all the all the complainers can have a "fair" chance at killing something. Yes, that's right, you're the noob that's calling everyone else the noob for owning you.

And for that I have to say, the majority of the BF2 community is composed of noobs.

im going back to cs only in fact until quake wars comes out...

the game has been totally nerfed... and whether u realised it or not as sum1 said the tank is now king...and imo the tank was always the biggest prob...helis+planes have been nerfed into papareweights...

and the movement?? its so unatural its terrible....

the people that complained about bunny hoppers etc are the people that are either to lazy to move the god dam mouse to shoot sum1 (requires skill mkay) or the person that bough tthe game 5 seconds ago and whats to "Pwn"... thanku for ruining a good game...

In overall its a good glitch but there's one big reason why it **** it **** up my browser, now i have to 'sort on mapname' and then 'scroll down' then search for a appropriate server with enough players and a low ping...

Have you even played the game after the patch? if you are a GOOD pilot, it's stil easy to dodge, I got 40 kills and 2 deaths in a F35B while the other team was shooting at me with thier nooby AA's. QUIT WHINING, learn to fly.

Hell, this patch rocks. I was playing this evenng on a Shargi only server. THe amazing thing is, if you control the right points, you can fly the copter the whole map...

The MEC team took over the NEws Station type building, which took out the AA gun. The Copter owned the map and the MEC won numerous maps because the USA team couldn't stop the TEAMWORK of their opponents...

Now, from what i know of the other maps, there are flags you can control, or places you can set up a sniper to take out AA... TEamwork is key. Anyone who can't play within this new gameplay, is just not a very good player to begin with...

I played around with ALL the KITS, including the Sniper and The Support kits. I was able to kill the snipers and Support players. When i was killed by a sniper or Support player it was because they got the jump on me or i made a stupid mistake.... Point is, the weapons are balanced now; the players complaining just need to actually practice..

I'm loving it more than ever.Like i've posted in many a thread as of recent.
I just love how all the people that wanted an easy ride with this game(like chopper wh*reing and bunny hoppers)are now complaining like hell,this is nerfed and that is nerfed.I've been on a few servers this morning and choppers are still doing a good job,Think it's showing who are the genuine 'good' pilots and who are the newbies who wanted easy kills.
Haven't really got a complaint about the new patch I think they've balanced it out.Get alot of snipers now which is fair enough the novelty will wear off and still noob tubeing is going off but fair enough.
Finally the noob filter in progress thank god the CS type players will be leaving BF2 in drones.
