i dont care what anybody thinks, i've been n00btubing and bunny hopping now and then, and still i love this patch, made the game more fun and gives infantry a better chance.
and everybody is complaning about the support guns being overpowered, if you compare it to the AK101, the ak101 is allot more effective at long range, and yes its got a smaller clip, but i never use a whole clip on a kill.
what i'm trying to say is that it simply doesnt matter if its more powerfull, its still not the most powerfull its just different than before, and i think it makes the game more fun.

For me and I hope the vast majority of the bf2 gamers, this patch has been amazing in almost everyway
everything seems better, more lethal, more solid
I enjoyed this game before, now i think i'm in love - beyond some weapon damage tweaking in the next patch to appease the hew complainers I can't think of one thing that has to be changed

There is really only one safe house ...... TANK. And even that has to be very very careful. And to be honest the TANK should be the evil monster of the game. Not some low flying, low speed su cluster bomber spammer.... i mean that guy deserves to be blown out of the sky within seconds. Now, he can be.

Mainly because all these pilots and weak infantry folks are here whinning, tells a very very different story.
BF2 is now, more then ever NON noobish. Meaning you really need to think ahead, and work with team mates. Or die trying, more then ever.

I thought the thing that was going to hack me the most was the change to the air vehicles, but I am finding this is not the case.
I think that ground play has been so dummed down that its not even fun anymore. I can own just about anyone with the PKM, even snipers at 100m plus. The guns they adjusted for accuracy are way too accurate and powerful at the same time. Claymores can now be placed anywhere and ensure a kill with every placement.
By the way, the only thing that requires skill now is being in the air.

Ya just have to live with it. Gaming companies to not have the time to change every little feature to satisfy everybody. So this is what happens, you get a patch that only satisfies, the few cry babies, and the rest of the community suffers.
o.k. Now let me go play BF2 1.2 to see how badly nerfed this game has become :cry:

Blame it on the ones that think you should be able to buy a game off the shelf and play like a pro in ten minutes.
Blame it on those that come to these and other forums and cry in depth about how they are getting tired of not getting good scores because (insert your fav. newbie complaint here)!

im going back to cs only in fact until quake wars comes out...
the game has been totally nerfed... and whether u realised it or not as sum1 said the tank is now king...and imo the tank was always the biggest prob...helis+planes have been nerfed into papareweights...
and the movement?? its so unatural its terrible....
the people that complained about bunny hoppers etc are the people that are either to lazy to move the god dam mouse to shoot sum1 (requires skill mkay) or the person that bough tthe game 5 seconds ago and whats to "Pwn"... thanku for ruining a good game...

It's obvious that you're one of the people that turned Battlefield into the bunnyhopping/noobtubing Quake fest that it was.

Not only have the majority just said, " OMG, game nerfed.. blah blah blah ". Yet, none of you offered a reason why you felt that way?!
The only thing I saw as "PKM" is too accurate. Well, it's a 7.62x54r long barreled MG. Think along the lines of M240b or g. Very deadly at ranges of 600-1000m with optics.
...other than that. If it bothers you so much quit. Honestly though, I don't know what you expect to find in "Quake Wars". It's going to be more Unreal Tournament 2004 than anything.
