You are the one who is retard here, and just proves that you don't know **** about planes.

When I play I always bomb targets that are near our flag - if I see circle in the middle of our flag I always try to kill it, or when enemy is taking our flag - bomb them. These are primary targets for planes. Ive been numerous times #1 in "flag defend" points at the end of round.

Sorry, but 179 flag defends in almost 10000 kills is not something to brag about.

Okay, and when your team is down to one last flag, I'm sure you're the first one to bail out of your coveted plane to re-cap one back, right? Heaven forbid, then one of the other 8 people waiting on the runway would get the plane.

The thing that cracks me up about the alledged "pro-pilots" (helo or jet) is they think that just because they're pros they shouldn't be touched by AA or people on the ground. Well I got news for ya, there are pros on the ground too and knowing when to jump into AA sites or use .50 cals mgs is equally important and skilled.

Hmmm, EA wanted to strenghten the acc. of AA missles to popular demand from infantery because they got killed to much by bombs or vulcans. but now it seems that the opposite will be true. we pilots will have to defend ourselves against this growing AA threat. so we will have to take the AA-stations out... and thereby hitting everyone who is to close to it :-)

AGAIN THERE IS NO SKILL IN FIREING AA MISSLES FROM A STATION
what do you have to do? turn that thing facing the plane (wow that has to be hard) then wait till you hear 'bleeeeeeep' then click the mouse button (probably the most hard thing to do)

i was also racking the kills in the AA and it was easy. choppers have no chance at all! yeah coordinate with ground troops BLAH BLAH BLAH. yes the AA needed massive improvement but they dummed the choppers down a little too much i think. fine give the chopper's 8 missles instead of 14 but i think the hit points are too low. sit in a buggy or humvee and light up a chopper before the gun even overheats the choppers dead. the only way to live long in a chopper is stay far from AA, then you still have buggys and tanks to worry about. needless to say i still played good numbers in the chopper but it was hard as hell to keep alive.

ingame name is dznutz, im not a chopper whore i still love to ground pound, but i really enjoy flying the chopper's ever since DC.

OH NOES!!! The helo pilots have to WORRY about what is designed to take them down! How can it be! That makes no sense!

Actually, considering how you bitched and moaned about how the AA was so overpowered, you DID need to say that. On top of that, if you were still able to get good numbers, what makes you believe the AA is overpowered?

That makes no sense! Basically, you are just complaining because it is not as easy asit is was before.

You got that all wrong, you call pro's people like Planewhore who Ive shot down several occassions that are nothing but baserapers, pro's arent going to be rapping uncaps and not checking there six every few seconds..The little bitch pilots days where every turd flys/bombsuncaps/reloads are over. You are correct in saying there are pro AA players, but its kind of hard to get in that AA gun when there isnt one.If my screenshots werent not working all of the sudden Id post proof of what a pro pilot can do post patch.

Also things havent settled down enough yet to see the full impact of all the new changes, but Im OK WITH AA

LOL sounds like you have some worked up aggression against helo pilots, poor baby. i didnt say the AA was overpowred dumbass i said it needed to be better but the choppers hit points were lowered too much R.T.F.S. im complaining how easy buggys take you out now, pay attention. this is just my .02 if you dont like it fock off.

Well their are Pro's and "Pro's" at any aspect of the game...

With these's changes the Pro's will and in fact are already adapting to meet the challange and maintain their Pro status... The "Pro's" will simply have to find some other way of generating easy kills...

My personal opinion is that we will see a lot more "Pro" snipers about...

                            Haha. My new hero.

I will admit that the "lock-on" mechanics of AA is a little simplified. But there is no doubt that, especially on this forum it seems, that these "pilots" have a severe ego problem. Ever since they went to Best Buy and bought a $30 joystick and can bomb a tank in one run, all of a sudden they're the gods of Battlefield. Us poor ground troops have absolutely no skill, so Dice had to give us a "lock-on" missile just so we could actually hit anything. It certainly has nothing to do with the fact that planes can fly from one end of the screen to the other in like 3 seconds, making conventional firearms and flak cannons moot. No.

Here's a thought. All AA is based at flags, correct? And essentially, if your team owns that flag, you shouldn't really have to worry about the AA at that site. Is that not also correct? Well... how about you fly over the flag, bail out, shoot some people in the face, and then re-cap the flag back. You've then given your team another spawn point, a possible point-tick, and one less AA to worry about. That sounds like skill to me.

i agree planes were tearing me up in the AA, well atleast the ones that could fly good. also the "pro pilots" that need to ucb rape are just punks.

Re: My thoughts about the Controversial "AA"

i always have played as a sniper, and dont get high scores often,i did used to fly the heli and plane but very rarly!!!!
why did i fly it rarly becuase plane/heli whore's/pro would be in the plane for ages if not the whole round!!

giving the AA more power just gives everyone a chance to be able to get in a plane(as they probaly wont be in the air as long)

so i think that its a good thing makes sharing the heli/plane alot better.
and as i never had that mutch experience with a plane(single player loads)
maybe i can acctually have a go from time to time.

as im not used to getting 40kills 0 deaths in a round in a plane/heli i will hopfully not worry if i get taken out by aa.

but my main objective will be keeping the enemy AA clean with my inproved accuracy M95.

p.s lets all watch the k/d ratio drop on heli/plane pilots(bar extermly good pilots)
