Re: Anyone else having problems with radeon 9200 agp 256 mb?

I've got an ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 (64mb VRAM) and it worked quite allright. Yes, I'm playing on my laptop and I'd really appreciate if other people would actually help. I didn't spend 50+30 euro's for games I couldn't play. Now, I know my card isn't supported and I'm just being an ass, but I don't think it hurts to help someone. Unless you're just to good with your fancy computer and bank-account.

its not like everyone haven't heard about 6600 costing under 100

many 9200/9250 users have requested help, if DICE say no way then i'm not blaming so i have absolutely no idea why some of you thread whores would come and flame me for bit_ching

got a problem use PM i'm sure it doesn't take 5 minutes to learn
amen to that.. and besides im not a ****ing 30 year old like some of you guys that plays bf2 all day and has the money to spend on a 4,000 dollar system. So i have to buy Budget ****. if you have a problem eith that then you are a inconsiderate prick. not everyone has 4000 dollars to blow on a computer just to play a $50 game on high settings.

You don't need to spend four thousand on a computer, but getting an acceptable video card would be a good start. Don't get ****ed off at us because you got a low end video card.

          hey

          9250 is acceptable

changing the minimum requirement is unacceptable for the people with acceptable video cards

I wouldn't call the 9250 a gaming card in the least. Its been low end from its inception.

Game companys are not gonna be making games that are gonna support older hardware forever. I mean look at BF2 2GB of ram to run textures on high, who would have thought of that last year? Not me to play the best you need to get the best.
BF2 is a taste of what will come within the next few years. My 6600GT can run any current game quite well but this time next year i am very doubtfull. Stay active on all tech sites and keep up to date on the latest hardware and games.

What do you guys expect us to do? You have old cards. BF2 is a game which requires a bit of hardware to play. We aren't wizards, we can't conjure up anything here for ya. The only advice you will get is either, downgrade and play on any servers using old patch, or try every graphics driver you can get your hands on. DICE may or may not fix this. While they want alot of people to play their games, they gotta draw the line on hardware at some point. If you fall below that line, you fall below that line. Don't take it out on the rest of us.

we arent trying to take it out on you guys but you guys keep telling us to get a better card and some of us dont have that much money so we can be like "oh i think ill buy a new video card today. $300 isnt that much" yeah right . we are just mad because some of the posters dont get we dont have alot of money to spend on a computer. so please stop telling us to buy new vid cards post if oyou can actually help us out. im not meaning to gripe you out dave but some of us just dont have the money right now and we have to make do with what we have.

and thanks for those suggestions dave.
