Patch Release Date: Feb 16th

It seems that the delay on the Euro Force Booster Pack has to do with the delay of patch 1.2. From a couple of sites and different sources we've heard that the BF2 patch 1.2 has been set back 2 weeks.

The reason appears to be that the Trusted Partners (gamehosters who offer ranked servers) want to see a couple of serverbugs fixed in patch 1.2. At this moment it isn't confirmed by EA nor DICE.

The new release date is Feb. 16th

Reading through the thread, that 16th Feb. date is a guess based on the release date of the booster pack on the German EA site. (Which no longer works...)

Oh dear, Im getting different different dates from everywhere, 13, 14th 16th and 24th. At least we now its coming soon.

I must express my thanks to Dice for finally fixing the things in the new upcoming patch.

Thank you Dice. Now BF2 will actually be playable. Getting rid of those bunnyhopping bastards. The prone jumping tards, and of course, the M203 whores.

lol RavenRealms, i bet if u were a chick, ud go as far as to let EA and Dice have there way with u. But that is some good news that they will fix some major stuff, its gona be sweet owning all those noob bunny hoppers, GP30 whores, and any air flying whore, a new dawn of BF2 will arise and the non hoppers will triumph.

Some say 14th, some 16th. Only an official answer will clear this up. Needless to say, but for me it won't matter which date it is, as I'll be otherwise entertained on the 14th. The thought of being "allowed" to play a computer game on Valentine's day is, well, preposterous. :/

Yeah Jambo, i know what you mean by 'not being allowed' to play a computer game on V-day. My fiancee is the same.

My great prediction of the release date will be the 14th.

The DICE guys are looking forward to the patch, we run into the same stuff online you guys do. When it is released, be sure to post your feedback here, I'll be reading, and so will others.

I won't comment on the date of release though, sorry!

Yep, Edinburgh here.

I'm actually looking to buy a new graphics card soon. I gave my X800XT PE AGP built by ATi (very rare card) to my brother. So now i'm left with a crap X600. I'll be buying a nice X850XT PCI-E soon hopefully.
