The DICE guys are looking forward to the patch, we run into the same stuff online you guys do. When it is released, be sure to post your feedback here, I'll be reading, and so will others.

I won't comment on the date of release though, sorry!

I've also had orders not to play on my PC, on Valentine's Day from my fiancée.

But it could be worse, she could have made me go to another wedding fair this Sunday. But instead she is taking our mum’s, so I get an afternoon on BF2 SF.

My great prediction of the release date will be the 14th.

I bet on that too. Then they will write a cheesy community update on the ES site saying that this is their Valentines day present to the community and everyone will love DICE and EA and forget about all the bad they have done or neglected :)

But seriously: good work Dice/AE.. it took some time but i think this patch is the biggest improvement/change in BF2 since last summer, knockin off the only-one-player-in-a-vehicle-counts-in-flag-capturing from the top of my list of "best things to happen in BF2"

Yea, My wife would be ****ed if it comes out on the 14th, and I want to install bf2 patch, and play it instead of doing the v-day stuff! :)

TO MANY DATES MAKES MY HEAD HURT!!!!! besides I gotta rank up to get a gun unlock so I can unlock teh P90 only less than 2000 points to go!

Im fancing the p90 too (got an unlock left atm) but im going to wait till ive killed e few people and tried thiers out b4 i spend it, because im fancying the sniper too as i was betterly disapointed with the .50

yea, I have 2 unlocks coming to me also, cant wait to get the new l96, and the p90. Should be fun testing them out, and getting used to them.

Yep, Edinburgh here.

I'm actually looking to buy a new graphics card soon. I gave my X800XT PE AGP built by ATi (very rare card) to my brother. So now i'm left with a crap X600. I'll be buying a nice X850XT PCI-E soon hopefully.

I must express my thanks to Dice for finally fixing the things in the new upcoming patch.

Thank you Dice. Now BF2 will actually be playable. Getting rid of those bunnyhopping bastards. The prone jumping tards, and of course, the M203 whores.

Oh yes, i bow to Dice. I worship Dice.

This is what the game needed.

DUDE! Your getting way ahead of yourself. Wait until you get the patch until you say something like that. We went through this before. They said they fixed many things in last patch like Pilot teamkills if aircraft blows up, Thats not fixed. I can go on and on. This game still should of not been released for another year. So if you bow to Dice i pity you!

Battlefield2.nl (reliable last time) says "coming very soon", but no actual date.

Battlefield2.nl says this now:

"Coming very soon to a gameserver near you, the one and only BF2 patch 1.2! Tomorrow is a good day to patch!"

So it looks like we might indeed get it tomorrow.
