I remember this on Karkand, I switched to USMC because I like to attack, and then it kept switching me to MEC, went on like that for three rounds, rather annoying when your leading and then get switched.

I especially hate it when I get switched and then I get switched back again.. I really think "If you were moved by the server" You shouldn't have any penalty.

Because...its not to make the teams fair as in skillwise..the balance team makes it so that there are equal NUMBER of ppl on each team...

Autobalance has nothing to do with being a good/bad player. It just switches the first one to die when the teams become unbalanced.

Switching the players with the lowest score is not a good idea because that guy may not be dead at the moment the teams become unbalanced. waiting for a guy with a low score to die may take forever depending on the luck/situation in that game.

A player can be subject to autobalance or not. you cannot give some players more weight than the others. However, a resonable idea will be to give the players with the highest score/time in that team in that round the privilage of not being subject to autobalance (can be a whore or expliter or cheater or camper!!!)

The gayest thing is being switched right out from a teamworking squad, right to the other team, with no teamwork on it. I have even been switched from squadleader! And then the entire rest of the round, you can't switch back to have fun with your squad. Stupidest system ever.

Umm no, I explained what autoswitch is and how it works....not why they haven't fixed it which is my question....

Im just saying that top 3 ppl per team shouldn't be autoswitched....

Well, you do know that you could just switch right back, don't you?

I'm quite sure a few you may already have found a way to switch back without getting switched back again at the respawn screen.

what really ****es me off is when the games almost over, the score is like 20-7 and u get switched over, that happens to me way to often and thats why i have to many losses on my stats.

we run our server with bf2cc
it has autobalnce as an option
we ALWAYS play with it on
otherwise - you get uneven players
and everyone jumps to 'bigger team'
which is usually the winning team
we set it at 2 (means never more than delta 2 players between teams)
the code gives preference to our name tags
but that does not always work
ie our guys get switched anyway
but if they join a squad
then they RARELY get switched

As far as I'm concerned, if someone has a really good score, then he shouldn't have any reservations about getting switched to the losing team. It's easy to perform well on the winning team because after all, you're winning. However, truly skilled players will still perform well on the losing team. So if anyone is afraid of doing horrible while playing as the losing team, maybe he isn't as skilled as he'd like to think. Of course, in cases such as when you're down to your last spawn point and you get killed as soon as you spawn, no amount of skill will quell that. :p

I do support the join-a-squad-or-risk-being-switched-to-the-other-team
proposal, although I'm a sniper and I tend to go lone wolf most of the time. So, this rule would hurt me, but then again, it'd force me to be more of a combat sniper rather than the camper, so that's good.
