Autoswitch...why haven't they fixed this yet....

Ok, I know there have been numerous posts about this before but honestly...

When its 20 mins into the game and I have top score in the server....why am I being autoswitched after I die. I mean honestly, if you are going to autoswitch someone, first switch the people that most recently came over to the winning side, THEN switch people with the lowest scores like -10 and the like...

I remember getting autoswitched on OCS. I was in a beastly squad that actually functioned like a squad. I disconnected because it just wasn't fun. The MEC just weren't there on any level of teamwork.

I mean honestly...you can switch me....with a score of over 100...or a guy with -20 overall score....really.....why do they have to pick ME...

Just choose servers with autobalance set to off.

Because the server "thinks" you will balance the teams out if u are on the other side.

I would do that but I don't have much choice. 1.12 screws up every time I get concussion, so I use a different patch. And as I play Battlefield Karkand, I normally spend about 5 minutes updating and refreshing the server list, waiting for a gap.

Because...its not to make the teams fair as in skillwise..the balance team makes it so that there are equal NUMBER of ppl on each team...

I guess the idea is that if the best player on the winning team joins the losing team, the losing team is going to magically perform 10x better and make a major comeback from the 100-20 score and be victorious!

Of course, that's just plain stupid logic because auto-switch usually occurs when one side is so far behind in flags and tickets that they just don't have a chance anymore. The only thing switching the best player to the losing team is going to do is chalk up another "loss" for him on his stats.

It just switchs the first person on the team that dies when another person is needed on the oppisite team. This system is obviously flawed.

How many times has it been now where I go...capture most of the points...push the enemy to their last base and get killed by something, and then oh crap, it switches me...all that work I put in for my team now is aiding my enemy...because we can't spawn without dying....

autobalance should only switch 1) lonewolves and not squad members. it was nice that squad leaders cannot be switched anymore (unless there is no one else), but when I have a good squad, I don't want to lose it. 2)those most recently joining and/or lowest score. Switching some of the best players wont help the other team.

autobalance works in that if one team has 2 or more players than the other team, the first person to die on your team is switched sides to balance the team numbers. i think the only exceptions are squad leaders and commanders at the moment.

it should really be the lonewolves that get switched...i play all the time with my friends, we're all together on 1 side, then one of us is just randomly kicked to the other side...that ain't cool...

Exactly...I will work to capture points and then we start baseraping the other team...just owning...and then I get switched...lol all that work to aid the other team...

I used to be a lone wolf.

If I could have avoided being switched by joining a squad, I would have. Therefore, it would at least promote some semblance of team play.

A brilliant idea in more ways than one.
