I usually leave the thing that displays fps on just out of interest, does it effect performance in any way?

No, it doesn't. In fact, the game tracks your FPS whether you actually display it or not, it's just a timing number is all. Actually drawing it to the screen is a minimal operating when compared to what the rendering engine is already doing.Originally posted by Bio_TerraI usually leave the thing that displays fps on just out of interest, does it effect performance in any way?
Of note though, how DO you turn on the FPS tracker in BF2? -
Re: Does leaving fps tracking thing effect performance?
To be honest, I am not even sure if the space matters and caps certainly do not matter . . . well, at least, if you write it in all lowercase you will be fine. If someone here uses caps, then I definitely doesn't matter.
One of the numbers is fps and the other number is time between frames in ms. They are just inverse of each other.
Why have both? I have no idea.Comment
