This is a bad idea for just a few pts (if it is a tank or apc).
Why?
Boom. Artillery kills you. Enemy takes your team's valuable vehicle. Replace 'artillery' with whatever weapon that can kill you before you can react.

No where does EA say use it to set traps to tick off the enemy

Yes its obvious. Not many people do it in a trap-like way.
Try it yourself its obvious but its so funny when you get a fully loaded vehicle. Plus its a nice change from the same stuff over and over again.

Most of us have been doing this since BF1942, and BFV had a piece of equipment explicitly designed to booby trap vehicles. But good job reinventing the wheel.

I've got a better one- if you can pair up with a support guy (and you playing as SpecOps) team up together, and you should have virtually unlimited C4. Now... go to the enemy cappable main base- hopefully their commander assets are there to keep a consistent points flowing when the commander tries to repair everything. Now... Paint the desired location with C4 (and stay alive of course, which seems to be the harder part when watching over a C4 site), and capture the flag. Soon enough- the enemy commander will call their troops back to take the point back- and so you have a massive influx of enemies coming in on your C4 site. Blow it all up, annoy the commander further by bombing their assets again... and well; if your enemies have not adapted to this yet, then it could only mean- more points for you.

(plus, there's every benefit for the support guy, because he has to consistently feed you supplies, and plus shoot down the odd nasties that come your way when hiding out to wait for some opportune C4 popping).

A 6 step process to driving a commander crazy.

1. Spawn sepc-ops and sneak your way to the enemy main base.
2. Blow up the enemy UAV trailer and satellite trailer with C4. Don't take out the artillery yet! It is more important that the enemy commander not be able to spot you.
3. Run away and hide but be looking for a supply drop by the enemy commander. Many times it will be right next to either the UAV or satellite trailer which is exactly what you want.
4. Run up next to the supply crate and take cover. As you reload on C4, drop the first three on the UAV/satellite trailer that you are next to. Make sure they are close enough to take out the supply crate as well. Don't set them off until you are fully reloaded with the three already deployed.
5. Now you should have both the UAV trailer and satellite trailer down with a full load of C4. Go take out the artilery and keep watching for another supply drop that will probably come in the exact same spot as the last one. (Some people never learn.)
6. Repeat from step 3. Also be on the look out for enemy armor that you can steal or booby trap. (Hey Bevis, he said booby!) If you get bored, you can always spawn camp with the extra C4.

I am going to see you coming the first time 5 out of six times, & when I am busy, & I don't notice you coming, & you blow something up you better kill me , because I am going to place UAV, run right up to you, & shank you
