We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
maybe you can command effectively from the back of a blackhawk but tell me how you can effectively command whilst piloting a blackhawk or any other aircraft or vehicle?
Obviously you can't. Commanding from the bomber seat it similarly ridiculous. The bomber is a devastating element on Kubra, for instance. No sense taking up a seat that could be utilised by someone who can bomb full time. It ticks the pilot off too, because the less the bomber kills, the less kill assists he gets.
a lot of the rules they made are stupid. I really wish for once they would let the community run the way we want it to, not the way they think we want it to
Only thing I see wrong with it is you're depriving someone else of being a bomber and helping the team not to mention the pilot. If you’re commanding you’re not bombing.

Yea really good point. However, in my defence it was my friend who was flying and he had no passenger for the first 1/4 of the round so when he died I jumped in to passenger cause I wanted air time..I am a terrible pilot...
And as you may know as a commander you are really uaving and spotting guys say 70% of the time and the rest you are waiting for things to reload..give or take..maybe you are watching their movements too..So I was filling that 30% with laser guided missle time.
Do ea have any rules on who an admin kicks off his server to make way for a member of that server?
or are commanders exempt from being kicked to make way for server members?
Commanders are NOT exempt from being kicked/banned. As an admin, I consider commanders who fly disruptive to gameplay and will be warned/kickd/banned accordingly.
I love how people feel commanders should be laying down somewhere doing nothing but commanding. If that was the intent then the commander would not have a avatar in the game. I am a fighting commander, which means I defend 1 flag and my assets. I dont fly and I agree it would be very hard to fly and command. I have never had a problem with people feeling I was not doing my job, and I help the team by defending a back flag and my assets. Be a fighting commander not a flying commander. Defend and repair your assets dont drop supplies on them. A commander should not be leading attacks, he should be guarding the back door.
Please keep all discussion and suggestions regarding the revised RoE in the Official ROE Discussion thread, found on the BF2RS forums.
Or, if you have a question, feel free to come on IRC and drop us a line. We're on irc.quakenet.org, in #BF2RankedServers.

Or we could just post here instead of signing up for a different forum just to complain. :p
Seriously, this is an absurd rule. Mutinies don't work due to numbers of people who don't care, don't notice, or have voting turned off. Admins pay for the ranked servers, so surely they can kick idiots. Flying a jet when commander = idiot.
These are rules that EA official server administrators enforce to maintain friendly, disciplined servers and are in addition to the global rules defined above.
§2.1 You may not use any offensive or sexually explicit language in chat or voice mode.
§2.2 You may not use foul or slanderous language involving race, gender, sexual preference, religion or creed.
§2.3 You may not deliberately hinder your own team or acting in such as way as to cause team mates unavoidable deaths or team losses.
§Commander flying or in a vehicle instead of commanding
