I hate to say it but there nothing you can do theres always going to be tools that tk for the vehical they want or tk because you revived someone they wanted to revive. Or tk because they want to cap the flag on there own or like in your situation tk becasue they want comander. The only thing i suggest is giving the game a break for a day everyone on of things i just listed happend to me yesterday so i took the day of (worse thing is ive trained myself to forgive every tk so instead on punishing i forgave them DAM my sense of fair play). I might not see anything like that for weeks but when i do its like the looneys have all been let out of the nuts house at the same time just to ruin my game no matter what server i join.

This is why the counterstrike STEAM system works great

When I want to ban someone,
consol
Status

Gives you a list of every player in the server with their steam id.
If you get a demo of them hacking you can easely get them banned from the server, if its really bad, you can get them a global ban...

Is there anything similar for bf2 ??????

Actually if you email EA the player's name, server, what they did and some proof (the original post has nice screenshots), there's a chance they might do something about it.

The Valve system I've found to be very responsive, I hear many got banned for being jerks.

If this sort of thing happens to me, I would just kill/revive/kill/revive until he leaves the server. (he can;t even spawn)

Forgiving every TK is just as bad as punishing every TK, both serve to undermine the TK system. Just use the TK system as it was meant to be used: To punish intentional and careless/reckless TK's.

Hey just out of curosity I never checked when a teamate shot me dead, do they count as a Death? If so i don't think they should be taken as a death. It kinda defeats the purpose of point collecting if it wasn't your fault.

^then your most likely to get kicked with one huge tk score, everytime you kill him he punnishes you?

Worse thing I come across is when 2 people from the same clan, hog the heli for every single round and tk anyone who tries to use the heli (usually by using GL, or AT rocket), so when I click on a server I try to make sure there isn't going to be too many clan members in the server(unless its the clans actuall server).

Only other problem I have is the base raping from helis, one server you should watch out for, its a german server, anyway no idea if you have seen this dude, name is 'terminator_1337'', he base rapes so bad, hes the gunner but the pilot is just benefitting from the kills, I once went into the server and the hotel was the last US checkpoint and he just kept hovering at the side, you couldn't really use the stinger because he was behind the hotel spawn and just sat there with the gunner hitting the doorway, heres screens so you know what I mean.

Eternal-Souljah I don't think you understood my question if the ^ meant that you were talking about my post. I just want to know if my own teammate kills me does the death count as a death?

Meaning if before my teammate kills me I have 3 deaths then he kills me (TK) does that count as a death inwhich the total would be now 4 after he killed me.

^ First part of my statement was to Hu.Z_of_PLA, should have quoted him, then I was going slightly off topic but wasn't talking to you directly.

And yes im pretty sure that it counts as a death, however I think that if you are commander and your teammate kills you, it should not count as a death.

Dont play on public servers... ESPECIALLY large ones like 64 players..
Its nothing but a free for all, unmonitored cluster-f---.

Join a clan, or play in a league.. thats all I do anymore.. EA has made
points, badges, ranks, awards so important that all the children of BF2
stop at nothing to get their share..

I play to help my team win.. I play 110%.. I play fair, honest.. no exploits,
no cheap lameness.. but, I got to say, Im in the extreme minority.

commander mode should be a server option.. OR EA should fix the voting
system, as is, it is useless.. a total joke.

One thing that could help on the tk is if you kill one of your teammates by the use of a weapon or Projectil, I think the that you should recive the death insetad of the person you shot dead.

It would definitly help I would think. But this is only my opinion.

How 'bout an enormous group of players get together and harrass the **** out of the guy. Post a link to the offending ahole's stats page in the first post in this thread so we can always see where he's playing, and we can all rain **** down on this dude. Post pics of griefers here, then update the original post to include the newest candidates.

Has only had the game 69 days, and already TK'ed 1400 players?! Definitely a professional A-hole. Plays Commander more than anything else. Looks like he plays 6 hours a day, so no trouble finding him online.
