You obviously didn't read the experience of others, and compared them to their system specs.
I run a pretty damn nice machine, and the game runs great. Hell, the first several releases of Xfire I ran, we never had issues.
You can play COD2 and/or BF2 without issues on some computers, but sometimes, and not for everyone, it lags the client side. This isn't in relation to crappy specs. It's like some people can install Panda anti-virus software, and are left without any issues. Some others, they install it and the NIC quits receiving an IP address nor can a manually assigned IP result in anything working.
Incompatibility is big in the win32 world. It needs to be referenced before it is addressed, and I'm sure Xfire is no exception to the rule.
