kicked for base raping?!!?

Well I have just been kicked from a server for the first time for base raping. Thing is I was spec ops. I went into enemy area and blew 2 art pieces. Out of c4 I jumped into a vehicle. With 3 enemy homing in on me I switched to gunenr and killed them. Then I stepped on the gas and went back into my own territory. I just stop by a supply crate when I am kicked for base raping.

Did I really do anything wrong? I am a bit confused as to base raping etiquet. Should I just offer myself up as a slaughtered lamb?

Just looking for some guidance as I do not want to become known as a cheat.

Well in your case that's complete b.s. that you got kicked that is not raping at all. But base raping= defenseless idiots? Not when a whole team is pinned down on the carrier while 2 choppers and 2 jets with ace pilots and apc's in the water riddle the deck with constant gunfire and arty strikes for the entire round and no one even has a chance get off the boat. It's not all that fair.

Some servers don't allow raping of an uncappable flag in a vehicle (which I totally agree with) and impose bans if a player is found doing so. However only some servers. I think it is simply etiquette (in war? lol) that you shouldn't baserape an uncappable in a vehicle anyways. Let the buggers spawn somewhere, and just hang around spawn camping

there in no uncapturable, or even capturable point in the entire game that doesnt at least have some safe place to spawn. if the enemy gets too close to any point they can be destroyed. if the enemy stays far enough away so they cant be flanked, THAT NOT BASERAPE, its sieging, and its totally legit. if an enemy air vehicle is attacking an uncapturable, thats legit to because that just means hes neglecting other enemies, or the enemy team is too stupid to get off the deck and fight, thus deserving thier slaughter.

As much as I hate to be killed when I respawn at the base, the base raping is 100% legit and doesn't deserve kicking. The only thing that people should be kicked for is purposly team killing and ramming their aircrafts into other vehicles. Even bunny hopping is just a technique to stay alive, and as much as I hate not to be able to shoot the hopper, I wouldn't kick for it.

Dude its a war game ,there are no rules in war ,you did nothing wrong .It sounds like a simple case of a crybaby admin,in cal or twl its is not only legal ,it is essential .
Come play on our 64 player BF2 server where we allow anything except intentional tking and cheats

Well, my point is that you should never have let it get like that. If both teams work as a team, base raping isn't even an issue.

It's the Battlefield series, it's something you need to adapt and focus to defeat.

Noobies love to b1tch and moan. If you find a few good servers with good players, I promise that you will not be kicked. You will probably not get to the enemy's base anyway unless you are with a good squad. If you can get to their base and take out their Art...,,, they will probably congratulate you.

Raping is illegal, and especially raping military bases. Forget what you were told about "two wrongs making a right" raping military bases is not a great way to keep a clean criminal record man.

Wait until you get kicked from servers for "excessive team killing". I was on an unranked server with 3 people on it, my team mate decided it would be funny to sit under the blades of the black hawk, i took off, tipped to the side and got a team kill...10 seconds later "you have been kicked by punkbuster for excessive teamkilling", now that's annoying
