Oh my god... IRL snipers are toast against tanks and it should be that way in the game too. Or is there any point making different kits if everybody is effective agains anything? Oh please...

Just trying to help the alabama dude. That's what this forum for right?

And most of you may realize.. patch 1.2 has brought more snipers in town. Their main weapons are not the rifles. what else? Introducing the CM spammers.

so ppl like alabama beaware. You can't stay on the roof and snipe all day long. when you're ready to respawn, there'll be some CM waiting for you around your flag(could be my work).

Does anybody still remember the BF2 original intro movie when you launch the game(if you didn't delete or rename it)

Snipers should be able to spot and call the artillery strike. We snipers can share commander's toys. Oh! don't forget to set my arty FF to OFF so it won't kill myself. And i got credit for arty kills too.

I agree with those who say that's the AT/Spec's job.

However, in WW2, there were rifles designed to penetrate armor and kill crewmen inside...

lol yeh if i remeber they were on forgoten hope(1942bf) stingers i think they were called but cant be 100%sure if that was the name for um,deadly piece of kit :0

After reading this thread I just wonder one thing, why does everyone get so angry over a game?

Anyhow, no anti-tank for snipers in my opinion.
