I can see it on the map and screen, don't need it shouted at me, should really be an option.

Well maybe they don't turn it off completly. only one apc can be spotted. (so if they spot a second time, there wil be now sound, you will be able to spot another time if the apc dissapears from the MAP (as a red image))

yah as a commander I have to spam it where a UAV isn't..........gotta be annoying to the other people tho

some people don't like to work with their team. Don't want to hear their commander spotting targets, or their teammates asking for help.

When youve got a 64 player server with 32 teammates having something to say with a commander who keeps spotting enemies its not a matter of disliking teamwork. Its a matter of too much text happening on screen associated with the audio........ gets annoying. Then again your probably one of those teamplay die hards who enjoys the commander spotting enemies instead of dropping a........... uav?

how can we put off the radio chatter. It's too much for the most of us. I and I think alot of people would love to see this as an option to mute in the games menu. Hearing 100 x APC spotted is abit overdone, and it ruins abit of the gameplay. Is there any way with the current game to put this off?

Sometimes it can get annoying. But for the most part it doesn't effect my gameplay.

Aaaarrrrrgh...cm'on guys, another one!?!? U all are tired of knowing that this is a problem with the human Nature not from the Game...Anyway, I totally agree with the option thing, just like the one with the 3dmap...Ex:Cause, when playing as commander and u can't do anything to help, well...u just can't!!! so wait till u can and then activate this funtion...u'r bad, just play with decent people...My opinion to make this better, the commander should be able to spot the enemy troops in a certain area, this feature woul avoid that damn spotspamming...

UAVs are not non-stop, so that is not the solution. While the UAV is refueling, the commander can spot enemies out manually, and cover the whole map rather than just a few meters diameter (depending on the map). :)

i think the problem is when people purposly hold down page up or down which makes it even more annoying, some servers have a 30 sec ban if you do that.

I don't see any reason why its an option that shouldn't be implemented. The people that don't want to hear the chatter can switch it off and be happy. The people who believe that the chatter is part of the game play and believe its vital to have.... can just completely ignore that there is an off button. No one looses.

it should be something you can access from the TAB-manage menu, where you can mute the radio comm of a certain person on your team who talks too much

Most of the time I don't pay attention because I'm too busy killing or getting killed, but sometimes when I'm trying to cap a flag by myself and I'm trying to listen very carefully for any movement around me, it is very anoying.

Its my #1 annoyance with BF2 now, commanders that insist on spotting every enemy player outside the uav circle, multiple times.. jesus **** that is so god damn annoying.
