Re: Does kill streak carry from one round to the next?

Strange that there's so much dubiety around this. Well, the 28 and 15 were on successive rounds, and I stopped playing after the 15, so conceivably if it did continue over it's still going.

I'm leaning on the side of thought that it's for one round only.

well when the round ends, if you look at the top left you will see all of the "player is no more" things. this would lead one to believe it didnt, cuz u died. however, i could be wrong

This is consistent with my experience.

I don´t think it does unlesse the change of team alters it.
I killed 5 guys in the end of a round as MEC and in the next I went for 23 straight kills before I died (as US)...My streak now is 23.

You can see a split second before the round ends it makes everyone go "is no more" it doesn't count as a death but you can hear yourself die. If the kill streak carried over from one round to the next mine would be about 250 from 3 consecutive rounds with no deaths in the su-34 on cleansweep. Unfortunately though it seems it doesn't as mine is only 101:cry:

No, the kill streak does not permutate to multiple rounds, it is for a single round only.

I am ABSOLUTELY sure it does not carry over
if it has for some of you, then that may have been in various verions of patches
I had 4 "undead" games in tanks
                  well over 150 kills total
yet kill streak still below 40
and I KNOW I had no carry over
                  that was before current patch

Same here. My kill streak is from two consecutive rounds of Wake Island.

Related question - does your streak stop if you are critically wounded but rezzed by a medic?!? I had a 27-0 game on Karkand with one rezz near the beginning, but my streak didnt reflect it.

Shouldn't because you don't die, but you never know with this screwy game.
