Does kill streak carry from one round to the next?

On Karkand I got 28 kills with no deaths in one round and then the following round another 15 kills with no deaths. Will this carry on till I die or is it one round only?

I don't think it does carry ...

I might be wrong but my kill streak was 38 for a long time and then I did a similar thing: I had something like 28 kills in one round (no deaths), followed by at least 15 in the very next (still no deaths), then another four in the round that followed before being gunned down. My kill-streak should have gone up well beyond 40 but it stayed at 38.

The server was ranked but I guess there's also the slim possibility that it wasn't recording the stats ...

I dont think it does. Everyone dies.

I've heard it does but from personal experience I went 20-0 two rounds in a row but my kill streak stayed the same as it was before, so I dunno.

It did for me once and didn't for me another time. Perhaps it's changed in some patch or it's just iffy.

I don't think it does... one time I went like 5 rounds without dying. I probably would have a kill streak of 120+ but it didn't count.

No, it doesn't because technically everyone dies at the end of the round although that death isn't counted on your stats. It may just be there to keep requirements to one round only.

I am pretty sure it doesn't 'carry from one round to the next' because I remember that I once had no deaths over 3 rounds and I had over 40 kills total but it didn't count in my stats.

Yes it most certainly does , however if you are team switched or switch servers mid-round then this is considered a death . My kill streak is 62 but only had 43 kills in 1st round as commander then 19 in next before getting knifed by a sneaky spec-ops..

Hmm...I would really say no.

When the round ends, If you noticed, at the top left, everyone in the server is "suicided" and becomes "no more" when the round ends. I'm sure this doesnt go towards your stats, but still, you "died."
