I know what you mean though.
Aside from command, I've been the engie on a BH crew and every bloody time anything shot at us, it seemed to land right between my eyes. I got nailed by .50 cal, snipers, plane cannon, at rounds, and a fricken handgrenade! I'm seriously suprised I didn't get knifed.

    Anyway... yeah.
LOL that's so true. I can't claim to have been knifed while in a helo, but I have been shot down by artillery that was landing in the middle of no where.

There are times when it seems the whole game is out to kill you and you alone. Posted a big rant about that a while back, after it happened to me. Had the same thing happen - chopper stalking me, ignoring all the dozens of other easy kills, getting pounded by arty when spawning at every different location on the map, yeah, it was a joyous evening I can say that.

It happens, and it seems that getting abso-effing-lutely pounded by a combination of crappy luck, random chance, and DICE's glitchy coding is part of what makes Battlefield, Battlefield.

Dont take artillery fire personal. Its not you but the company you keep.

Or perhaps, they are down to one base and bleeding tickets, but they refuse to get out of that base because they are too busy waiting at the TOW missle launcher waiting for the slim chances that I'll come by in an APC.

        Anyone had similar experiences?
Ive never had the enemy run after me when Im commander but ive had the enemy commander call artillery on me serveral times when he could use it on the 20 other people on my team who are all at 1 base but he decided that I was worth it I guess.

I got slotted 8 times in a recent match - all by the same player. I reckon I must have taken advantage of his sister or something. Either that or I did something bad in a former life ...

If i am a sniper and there is a sniper with other infantry near him i will personally try to take out the sniper tbh, cos a sniper will do more damage left alone in a good hiding place, so sometimes i do go for a specific target, but if there isnt aa sniper in range i will go for anything... :p

USMC or SAS-I play serious, follow orders, try as be tactical as possible, friendly to team mates, work as a team.

MEC or Insurgents-Well thats my fav and my gameplay changes drasticaly. I C4 Jihad style, suicide bomb alot, set booby traps, and only care about killing infedels. I try to target squad leaders, or commander, which its hard to tell, but you can usually figure it out, you know, and honest squad leader is the guy who hangs back, while the group progresses, and the commander, doesnt move too often, so i sneak up and kill him.

PLA-I get angry, no sportsmanship, i give the bad guy no chance, i will kill him at all costs, even if i take a few of my buddies with me:laugh: I have noticed that Asian forces are colder and uncaring, they actually have no codes of ethics and trained to kill medics, and wounded soldiers. Kind of like Iwo Jima..

It may soung kinda "ghey", and i have no idea why i play that way, i just get a different vibe from the different armies, and kinda base play off of that.
when I play USMC I use every possible tactic to win, including suicide bombing. I've noticed that the western civilization are colder and uncaring, trained to elminate and assimilate all the "lesser" civilzations. I play accordingly.

when I play PLA, I play tactically but coldly, because I am DEFENDING my homeland from an alien invasion.

when I play MEC, I DO the same.

first, MEC is a professoional army, no JIHAD style here.
second, tell me that USMC never shot medic, or have a great humanitarian record (think prison abuses).

Could you explain the logic in that statement? Badges take kills, heals, repairs, resupplies, all are good for the team. Now a few guys running into teh fray knives drawn and dying a lot, while not detremental to the team as a whole can be annoying, it isn't going to lose a round, unless everyone is doing it.
