Re: Gun jamming - Possible hack

omg they are shooting me faster then i shoot them.. they must be hacking.
Come on now why does EVERYTHING have to be a friggen hack. the ONLY way a hack would affect another user is if its server side and if that was the case then EVERYONE in that server would be having that problem. Your problem is sometimes after you come down from a jump or switch it from auto to semi it will freeze the gun up for about 3-5 seconds. thats it.. next time you think hack think to yourself, remember when i thought he was hacking and i was dead wrong, yea well remember that.:|:

You sure it is just not the gun overheating, or that you are on burst mode?

Close to 600 hours or more, and never seen this happen.

i noticed it happening when you jump off a bulding and land on the ground and you try to shoot at the same time, it sort of jams... but seriously a simple re-click of the mouse just fixes it.. why does everything have to be a hack man... come on.

I dont think this has happened to me, only when I switch weapons and its in the littel weapon switch animation that I cant shoot. I recommend putting your finger back on the left click ^_^.

one other thing that might be affecting this is, if you accidently touch the roller wheel, it will move in the weapon list and you will not be able to shoot. Some people get really intense when they see an enemy and you might be doing this, I dont know. OmG!11!1 H4x0|2 !11!

This happens when you quickly switch from your nades to your assualt weapon. For some reason even if you have it on full auto when you switch back it changes the gun to burst or semi-auto. There is no gun jam hack, just a bug.

apart from the original poster this guy has the answer. Auto guns switch bewteen auto fire and single shot fire if you press 3 or select the gun in scroll select again whilst you are still holding it.

For people not aware of this use this mode to shoot accurately at long distances and then select auto fire again at close range for fire fights.

Don't know the answer to the poster though if he says the gun fires correctly if the cross hairs are not on the target.

Thanks for all the insults but do me a favour and actually read the post next time.

This happens with vehicle weapons as well as hand weapons and since when did the tank have burst fire.

I know the difference between single shot, semi-auto and full-auto fire modes and it's not that.

This is a problem where the gun simply stops firing when the crosshair is aimed at the person but fires just over their shoulder and it happens every single time I am aimed at the particular player.

have not experienced that yet. Could it be your mouse? Mine gets a layer of dirt after sometimes, try cleaning the mouse. Hope it helps.

Re: Gun jamming - Possible hack

I've had this a few times, occasionally when I jump down of a ledge I can't instantly fire, that I assume is because there's an animation for example drop the bipod on the PKM that just doesn't display. However there are other occasions when I'm jogging along normally, see an enemy troop in front of me try and fire a get nothing, those I haven't worked out...

this happened to me once... and like someone above posted, it was when I was jumping down onto the ground and trying to shoot at same time.

I believe it's the animation out of sync with the game.

I've had a gun reload three times back to back. Or, I had my gun reload without the reload animation.

If you jump off something then your gun drops down to prevent you from shooting and to alert you to open your parachute or take damage or die (depending on the height). However, sometimes the gun takes a long time to come back.

Nonetheless, most of these problems are caused by holding the mouse button during the animation or there is lag on the server.

Happened to me only once. I know it couldnt' have been a "Semi-auto" problem, cause I was using a pump-action shotgun.

At Karkand, near the Suburb outpost ontop of one of the "patio" like areas, I was firing just two seconds earlier, then the enemy went out of sight range. I dropped down behind them, and clicked. ..nothing, i kept clicking a few more times to see if it just didn't register or something. I knew I wasn't out of ammo because I reloaded a few seconds earlier and the HUD read 5 rounds in the clip.
I switched to my pistol as a near-last ditch effort, and it too didn't fire. Paniced, I went into evasive manuvers while trying to pull a grenade suicide. That too, didn't even pull. I managed to stay alive long enough to atleast have killed three of the people I was behind. Aparently, if my shotty would've fired, I could've saved the Suburb post from being overrun. =/

Respawned and shot at the ground to see if it was my mouse. I ended up wasting about 10 rounds to prove to myself that it worked. Never happened to me again, and still leaves me kinda confused
