as far as playing as commander to get top3, i always get outranked for commander....but i rather run around and playing, and not just camping somehwere like most commanders i see. :P

i dont think it registered in ur stats though.. it happened to me a couple of times too.

You may be right. I didn't check BFHQ to see if I got a gold afterwards, I just remember the top-three awards screen and thought it was kind of funny.

I play on Glory of War server and its tough to get over 50 ftw unless you are a airplane/helo whore. I don't think its a newb server but I haven't played a whole lot of this game yet.

I think I got my first gold on the first day I played and have about 15 gold 10 silver and a bronze in my first 10 days of playing :P.

lol i got my first medal playing on a 18 player server, in that day i got a silver star and a bronze star :salute: i play cheap! :nod:

For the record, it is a lot harder to get in the top 3 if you're playing solely as infantry and being a team player on top of that.

Ever notice how quite often the best players are on the losing team?

i got my top 3 bronze medal thanks to an awesome pilot lining me up etc, i had 23 kills and 7 deaths :)

Yeah, well done, I still get a buzz when I get a medal being Mr Average. Generally I am pipped to the post in the last few minutes to deny me my medal :) Either that or I have to log haha.
