unfortunately bf2 is always a fast paced moving battlefield and snipers rarely get settled in 1 place.

Your right, maybe its the style of game play that prevents this from being done.

With JOTR, the maps are very large and people are often standing around waiting for action or preparing to defend their position. So its easier to snipe them.

In BF2, people are constantly running around, its faster paced, shorter and smaller battlezones etc.

But, im sure there are some great elements from JOTR that could be added to BF2.

Like Binoculars for soldiers to spot these snipers who are too far away.

Also an M1 or some other close range sniper rifle. I was disappointed almost all the guns were bolt action and when reloading the sniper removes his eye from the scope (something not done by professional snipers).

Are u going to be able to use the unlocks from the booster packs in normal bf2?

Just hold down your fire button as you shoot a round and the scope view will remain until you release it. You can at least see if you have hit your target before reloading.

Also, real snipers are generally not able to see if they have nailed the target because of recoil and dust kickup. Real snipers also don't run around alone, they work in 2 man teams (1 sniper, and one spotter with an carbine just in case). The spotter verifies if the shot manages to hit the target or not.

There are no unlocks in the booster packs, the unlocks are in 1.2... They're just adding the sniper and anti tank unlocks that should have been in special forces, meaning you will need special forces to get them.

Or if you get the Euro booster pack it will be in the basic Euro kit.

Well The unlocks are gonna be for the sniper:L96A1 and for the AT:FN-P90(or P90)
