Note #2: I'm sorry, but DxTweaker operates in the same manner as a number of hacks. PunkBuster will not allow game files to be modified in this way on servers we protect.

Hey hey, chill out man. For a start, you're blaming the wrong people. Blame the people that create, and use hacks. This is a very unfortunate side effect. I am ****ed too, but it seems like this is gonna be the way it is, at least for a while.

Epilepsy is a disease, not a disability. You're right though, they don't care about you. They only care about making online gaming as cheat-free as they possibly can. If people with epilepsy can't play online games, it's because they have epilepsy, not because Punkbuster isn't doing their job. CRTs can display a much faster framerate, which may help to avoid seizures.

thanks PB, i´ve tried it today the first time and just thought wow this looks really nice and smooths, no tearing. after 2 minutes the fun was over and i recieved a 0 minute kick :shakehead :censored:

arent there alot of real cheats outside there, which arent detectable and PB waste their time with this :wall: :shakehead get your focus on the important tasks and dont ruin such nice game tweaks. this isnt a big advantage, it´s only a pleasure for the eyes as far i know say after 2 minutes playing. thanks now i´ve got to enable/disable the stuff everytime, because it works nice with Civilization4 too.

just read that it uses same code/technology as cheats, this is a problem...

I guess the developer of DX tweaker should have consulted with Evenbalance during development, instead of working on a tweak that's going to be shot down by the preeminent anti-cheat software developer out there... Way to waste time, dude.

Problem here is PB doesn't catch hacks unless it knows of the hack. So, PB has been programmed to detect and kick for DXTweak...

PB is a very useless piece of software. It stops no hacker...
