Same here man, I've not found a solution yet.

Ive had the same script in irc for two years, so i havent changed anything
for punkbuster to kick me... i didnt even have irc running last night :cry:

Hmm, so it's not that then. Obviously it has something to do with the PB update yesterday. I have a support ticket, where they said "Don't run Teamspeak Overlay". I don't run TSO! So I have no idea what else to do.

Do you use DxTweaker? That's the only other thing I have running. Except of course the obligatory firewall (Zonealarm) and anti-virus (NOD32).

Yep it's directx tweaker, now im forced to have it disabled and no vsync

Im having problems with punkbuster kicking me with unknown
windows application , the problem is im running directx tweaker and having to force triple buffering because if i dont i get frame rate drops to 30FPS when playing because my lcd is at 60hz and no higher. Because i have a disability to get passed this i must run vsync off and i end up getting
very bad tearing and jerkyness which makes me feel terribly
sick to the point of going to bed. The latest version's of
tweaker have worked wonders and i never got kicked, but since the latest update of punkbuster im now getting kicked within 5mins of playing with unknown windows application 131133.

There are MANY users suffering this problem, what do i do?
do i just get sick and put up with it because i want to play
my favourite game?. The only option is for you punkbuster
to allow directx tweaker to hook onto the TB option or
battlefield 2 to have a TB option in the game.

Great. Well I really am fed up with this rubbish.

Lets just hope that PB denys that DxTweaker is the problem and it's something else. Did you join a server without launching BF2 via DXTweaker then? That was going to be my next test. Disabled ZA and still got kicked. Closed mIRC and still got kicked.

"Note #4: Please try closing DxTweaker and start BF2 without it, that should help."

Just got this on my ticket. Great. Thanks PB!!

Edit: Yeah difinitely DxTweaker. Loaded BF2 through its normal shortcut and joined a server for twenty min's. Normally kicked after two with the "Unknown windows API command" error.

But then great terrible frame rate drops, or terrible tearing

What's DXTweaker? I am getting 'connection to server lost' msgs 2 mins after getting into a game. All started after installing the punkbuster updates over the last couple of days..

I had this problem, i tryed updating and failed. but then I read the PB site more carefuly and used the PBSetup. It fixed it.

Note #2: I'm sorry, but DxTweaker operates in the same manner as a number of hacks. PunkBuster will not allow game files to be modified in this way on servers we protect.

I used to get this error when the game first came out but after a couple of days of playing it was fine and I have not seen it since.

Im getting it all the time now, was ok for 3 months
