BF2 Skipping

Hey,
My game has worked fine up until today, when it started skipping all of a sudden while I was in a chopper. It is really weird, just skips constantly. The skipping also affects my ingame typing, letters are "lost" while I type. The sound does not skip, just the graphics.
I have tried deleting all the game cache, but it didnt help.
Any help appreciated.

PS: Other games work fine, e.g. COD2, MOHAA.

IM getting this as well. By any chance do you have an ATI card that you recntly udated the drivers for.

No, haven't changed anything in the longest time (35000 pts, same config, no changes), and all was working fine. Then all of a sudden today, while ingame, the skipping started. I have a 6600GT vid. card.

Could you please serch your HDD('s) for wc001225.dll and check modification/creation time. Is it the same time when skipping started?

ok this is the same thing that happened to me today...same video card as well. And its not the connection...

No, I know it's not lag, but it seems like Irkr is on to something. How do we fix it Irkr? And do you have the same problem?

same thing for me....modified last right when this started happening today at 2:03pm...tell me there is a fix!!

BSOD 0x000000CA
If the problem is really punkbuster client related, then we can only wait for them to update it. You can delete/rename the dll, but I think it will be redownloaded automatically.

i know..lol all games started to glitch and freze today
