No one who posted in this thread is an authority of the law, but we all know that murder is crime. It's called facts. You don't need to be the CEO of EA to know the Rules. The rules are stated in the EULA, and were enforced during the "Pistol/Knife Only" ordeal.

This has nothing to do with being in charge. It has to do with facts.

Sniper server hmmm.
A couple of years ago there was a bf1942 sniper server called
"MOONER"
You could only use the sniper kit, it was great...
No planes/tanks or any other vehicles.
Every night it was full, mostly the same people.

I wonder if this is still possible, a sniper server only.

Noone who posted in this thread is an authority with EA servers or BF2RS, so leave them alone. If they get caught by an OFFICIAL person then fine, otherwise its nobody's business.

It's everybody's business if a ranked server is violating the EA TOS, and everyone has the ability to report ranked servers to EA.

snipers should be good enough to play in any server, not just a sniper only one.

and dont complain about non snipers being in your game... given that its illegal to restrict them

Anyone can see there was no intention to break the EULA or gain an unfair advantage. This was for the fun of playing sniper vs. sniper, plain and simple. Im sorry if anyone ruined it for you guys and hopefuly a minor infraction like this is something that EA would overlook even if a crybaby smacktard reports it.

Thanks for all the positive support from those who actually understood the point of what was being attempted, rather than those who are just spouting off irrelevant facts because they like to feel self important. Most of which I can imagine never even visited the server.

Those that did actually join know that this was not a Knife server type situation, we made it clear that no one would be forced to play sniper, or that anyone would be kicked or banned as a result of not playing sniper, and guess what? No one was ever kicked or banned, EA know that, they and us have logs to prove that, so go whine to them if you want.

We have an unranked clan server that we may make public in the future, if that is the case then we will look into truely enforced sniper events.
